“Met some friends for a girls weekend and had an amazing time. We all loved the location and the amenities. We did not leave at all. Views of the lake are stunning. It was on a quiet section of the lake and there were no houses directly across. The screen in porch with rocking chairs were perfect for morning coffee. “Perfect house for a group of 7 adults. Lots of comfy seating inside and out on the deck and dock. Well stocked with oil, spices, etc. Master bed was very comfortable. Other beds were OK. Dock area is small and not deep water. That didn't matter to us since we went in September. Wifi was very slow but we had 5 people trying to work so more our fault than the house. Overall, an excellent Lake Gaston rental. ”

“We loved this little getaway for the weekend! The hobbit house was very clean and nicely decorated. Great amenities and nice gift bag provided. The towels were soft and the beds were comfy. My kids had a lot of fun feeding the goats and taking a ride on the paddle boat. The host Dean was fantastic! I have never had a host so nice and accommodating. “What an amazing stay! The house was super comfy and so cute. So quiet and peaceful. It was the perfect getaway from hustle and bustle. We swam in the lake both at the house and also at Gaston day area. Ate at Suka sushi and it was fantastic! The owner was extremely responsive and checked on us at arrival. The owner also recommended some antique store and I got some sweet finds. Definitely a stay again kind of place!”

“This is an amazing property. The home is beautiful and sits on a quiet cove just off the main lake. The amenities were plentiful, including a new outdoor pool that we thoroughly enjoyed, games, floats, water toys and a large dock that easily accommodated our boat. The location is perfect - near restaurants and grocery stores. The host, Jenn, could not have been better. She was wonderful to work with, and we would highly recommend this home!!”
