Other guests spotted whales and dolphins right at front side of property. I and my wife enjoyed our stay. I’d go there again just to enjoy the drive and have a cup of coffee in morning sitting at bench in front of the property hoping to spot whales!"

"Had superior room. Fair value for price which was like most of Iceland , expensive. One negative was the breakfast. Think they are understaff. Two people working hard but couldn't keep up. Many tables waiting to be cleaned. Had to wait for a new batch of scrambled eggs. They were cool even though they just came from the kitchen. Likewise the oatmeal, brand new batch was cool. Hotel setting is beautiful. Staff friendly."

The location was convenient for exploring, and coming back to such a comfortable place after a full day of waterfalls, glaciers, and scenic drives made the experience even better. The room was well maintained, the bed was comfortable, and the service was excellent. Overall, it was a great experience and a memorable part of our Iceland adventure. "We travelled mid- September. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient for walking the town or accessing hiking trails. The view from the guesthouse is fabulous. The host was on site when we arrived and back again in the morning which was nice. The kitchen and eating area were fabulous. We had the opportunity to do our laundry. We had a room upstairs and there was one WC and a separate shower area. There was a second shower downstairs. Bonus points for a great coffee machine so I could start the day with a cappuccino."
