"I checked in quite late due to the ferry schedule. The unit is less than 10 minutes from the ferry port. accessing the building was not difficult although as a short person I struggled to reach the keypad without having to step onto the first step at the doorway. I had a small carry on luggage and had to climb a somewhat narrow spiral staircase to the third floor with it. "I would not have changed anything. Very nice place in the heart of Valetta. We walked a lot, because everything is within walking distance. MANY restaurants within blocks of the apartment. Everything about the check-in / check-out was seamless. We opted to be picked up from and dropped off to the airport. Glad we did ... very simple process and we were able to get a lot of must see tourist info on the way to the apartment. Everything, including Malta itself, exceeded expectations."

"If you are looking for a property with character, and a perfect host, stop reading and reserve the property. Malta is about history and atmosphere. This property is steps from one of the largest and historic forts in the Med. You can walk in minutes to either bay surronding the city. One side of this property is on Republic Street which passes through the middle of the city. It is priced resonably and the hosts are friendly and helpful. It is clean and eludes character. Highly reccomend!!!!!"

Two things to mention: the door to the unit is very difficult to open with the key and the stairs are difficult for older people with baggage. "The location and authenticity of the accommodation is amazing. It is very close to the main sites in Valletta and in a traditional lane house. It is also great value. The one thing to be aware of is that given it is an authentic house and on a main thoroughfare, it is super noisy. If you bring some ear plugs it will be fine. The apartment itself is well equipped and all you need for a great stay in Valletta. Rooms are very spacious."

"Property pictured is NOT correct. The flour was filthy and badly needed mopped. Could not get the heat to work even after following the written instruction book. Kitchen pictured under the stairs is now the holder for cleaning supplies and broom. The windows were old and didn't close properly. Would not recommend this place."

"Beautiful boutique hotel in an excellent location. The staff were amazing and always helpful and polite. I didn’t actually use the swimming pool on this trip but it’s a great outdoor space for relaxing and sunbathing on the roof after a busy day sightseeing. The breakfast was buffet style with options on the main menu and I loved the coffee. I would stay at this hotel again and would definitely recommend it."
