Nice weekend getaway
Stayed in this Cabin instead of a hotel while visiting family in the area. It was a very relaxing place to get away for the weekend.

Tranquil
This cabin was the perfect place for us to relax with our grandson. The seclusion made the night sky amazing. Lost Maples is a great place for hiking and is just a short drive away. The back deck has plenty of sitting, a view of the creek and more birds than I could count. Our grandson, age 7, said the things he liked the best were throwing horseshoes, playing in the creek and the loft.

Nice cabin
We stayed during spring break and the weather was perfect for hiking at los maples. The house is spacious enough for a family of 5. It's stocked like a normal house. Plenty of towels and bedding. We needed screw drivers and they had it in a drawer!

AMAZING cabin near Lost Maples
This was seriously the best decision we've made in a long time. The cabin itself was really lovely, two giant rooms with comfy beds and then an upstairs loft with two more beds for kiddos. Furniture was cozy and clean, fire pit and fireplace were amaaaazing. So close to Lost Maples we went every day. The porch is so relaxing and SO MANY BIRDS!! It was really just a wonderful stay.

Nice location
It was a solid location and property. Description is solid in the listing - it’s rustic but kept up. It’s hard to beat the secluded location and the privacy. The sheets did smell terrible of mildew in the master bedroom. Wish we would have thought to contact owner as we checked in since they didn’t seem to want to hear about it afterward. It was still a beautiful place!

Fun and relaxing
This property was very clean and spacious. We took a family of eight and we had enough room for a comfy stay. cabin provide all the basic amenities and the outside view of nature was perfect. Also want to point out how beautiful the deck view was. We will definitely come back

This is the perfect hill country getaway. Very clean. All amenities. Porches galore. Stream behind the back porch. Overstuffed leather furniture. Bamboo fabric sheets were dreamy. Fast internet. Great quiet location
We enjoyed our quiet secluded stay. The patio was peaceful and we loved watching all of the birds. The cabin stayed cool throughout the hot day. We will be back!

Well-stocked. Friendly interaction leading up to and during the stay. Overall cleanliness was great and plenty of supplies that made the stay feel like a second home. Location is great for a quiet, peaceful getaway, as well as some natural land around to casually explore.

Nice, relaxing Stay!
Very nice cabin with a wonderful porch. My husband and I saw lots of birds and will share a list with the owner. We heard a Chuck-Will's Widow (related to Whip-poor will) both nights - first night it started singing at 9:02 and the next night at 9:04. We even spotted a Black-chinned Hummingbird in a nest. We enjoyed a hike at Lost Maples State Park one day. All in all a very relaxing stay- a good respite from caregiving for an elderly parent.

Perfect peaceful family cabin near Lost Maples
This cabin was perfect, better than advertised. Even my teenaged grandchildren were impressed and wanted to stay longer. Location is very private and near Lost Maples Park. Beds were comfortable and plentiful, and home was well-supplied with necessities. Come prepared to enjoy the peaceful country setting and bring plenty of groceries as restaurants and grocery stores are scarce and miles away.
