“Very Comfortable with a well appointed Kitchen. Excellent view of Hood Canal and occasional glimpses of mountains through the fog and clouds. Would recommend visiting the Union Visitor Center for good information about the sites and activities in the area. We enjoyed a few hikes to waterfalls and dinner of Oysters and Dungenese crabs. Preparing meals was easy in the spacious and well appointed kitchen. Perhaps the only drawback was the motorcycles on the road below the cabin and canal. I……

“We had never been glamping before; this getaway must be the perfect example of it! Every need was anticipated and met. The "cabin" is easy to get to, but feels miles away from the world. The site is tidy and thoughtfully laid out. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, but beware: it takes up almost all the floor space of the cabin. Communication with our host was excellent. “My wife and I got away for a long weekend after being kid-free. We brought kayaks and wanted to explore the area. We enjoyed the location very much, with easy access to Hoodsport and Hama Hama. The access to the water wasn't as easy as we hoped, but the fact that there's a little county park in front of the house did work out for us. The neighbors seem very protective of the beach though, so that's weird. Luckily the smoke from the Bear Gulch fire didn't come down low enough to bother us either,……

“Amazing little Gem near Gig Harbor! We had a wonderful stay! The first night we arrived very late. It was pouring down rain and dark outside. We were able to find the place very easily and once in it was very cozy. There is a little door that opens up to the forest and was really peaceful listening to the rain all night. “I was looking for a quiet space with a view and that’s exactly what I got! Beautiful views from the huge back porch and some seals visited near the shore! At low tide you can find lots of shells and see some starfish. I would stay here again. It is also dog-friendly and my pups had a great time running up and down the shore.”

“We had a wonderful stay on the LYLA. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the wine fridge and french press for our coffee in the morning. The welcome bottle of wine and snacks were greatly appreciated and such a nice touch. We would love to go back and explore more of the area as there seemed to be much to do within walking distance.”
