“Such an interesting hotel! I loved the quasi-ecclesiastical brick architecture of the old building, which was built as a seaman's hotel, in hopes of giving the sailor a safe place to stay especially with the temptations in rough Nyhavn of the past. Lovely staff, who went out of their way to help with any number of things. I strongly endorse a stay at the Bethell!”

“This location is excellent! It’s a beautiful hotel on the water and right in the most popular part of town. Hop on hop off bus and boat tours are steps from your room. And the breakfast! Wow! Probs the best I had on our vacation!”

“This is a large hotel with a large car park. The main car park is often full but there is an overflow carpark a little bit further round the hotel. You must register your number plate with the hotel immediately as the private parking company that looks after the car park patrol frequently. The rooms are clean and tidy (a bit like a Travelodge) with a kettle and some tea /instant coffee. Nice clean bathroom and we had a superior double room which had a view out over the harbour rather than……

“Storage space is a bit small for the room, the bed is comfortable and lighting have four mode for choice which is interesting. The kitchen is pretty small. Bathroom is fine and clean esp. non-peak hour. It’s a pretty good hostel as my experienced. ”
