Unfortunately, my recent stay at Hotel Ca’ dei Conti was disappointing. My two friends and I were placed in a room with no functioning air conditioning during the peak of summer. Despite being polite and respectful in asking for help, we were met with rude, dismissive staff who showed no willingness to offer a solution or even acknowledge the discomfort we expressed.
The room was extremely hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable to sleep in, with no airflow whatsoever. For the price point and the hotel’s advertised standards, this was not what we expected. The lack of basic hospitality and care from the staff made the experience even worse.
Venice in July is hard enough without air conditioning, but what made this truly disappointing was how poorly the situation was handled. I would not recommend staying here unless you’re guaranteed a properly functioning room and better treatment.
