Really nice, spacious apartment in Venice. We spent 16 nights on this trip and this was my wife's favorite place. Very clean, great location and very friendly staff.

Perfect place!

Location was excellent, loved that it was a little outside of the big tourist area but a convenient walk to get to everything. Plenty of options right outside the apartment for food, shopping, etc. Seevice was also wonderful with quick responses to any questions. Caterina met us when we arrived and showed us how to get in and also had great recommendations for nearby restaurants. The apartment was perfect for our group of 6. It was clean, stocked with all necessities we could have needed, and had beautiful canal views from the terrace. Would definitely stay here again!

A wonderful spot!

This is a fabulous apartment in a great location, with plenty of space for 5 adults. The views from the roof terrace and balcony over a canal leading to the Grand Canal are special, the bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. We spent a very happy few days here. The light by the shower in the 2nd bathroom wasn't working which makes the shower a bit dark and (being an older building perhaps) the shower pressure isn't hotel standard, but nothing to spoil the enjoyment

Wonderful respite in the Dorsoduro

The apartment is perfectly located. The only reason I gave 4 stars for the accuracy of the advertisement is because one of the bedrooms (with ensuite bathroom) is up one normal flight of stairs and then a very steep set of stairs and off of the terrace. The terrace is lovely, even in the late autumn. The apartment was super clean and well-appointed. The rental manager was fantastic.

Discovering the dorsoduro

We enjoyed our stay. The property could hold 6 people comfortably and 8 utilising the couch . The location was great being located in a beautiful area not far from accademia . We would happily stay again. Caterina was such a help she arranged the water taxis to and from the area and she helped with the map to pinpoint the places and services we wanted to see . We recommend this property and location 100 per cent it was a 5 star stay . Rgds Saverio

A very good stay

Charming location! Fun to watch Campo San Barnaba come to life every morning. We felt the apartment was central enough to take advantage of everything Venice has to offer without being in the middle of the tourist crush. Neighborhood highlights included a very enjoyable meal at Osteria Enoteca ai Artisti thanks to the welcoming young staff and stellar pastries at Dal Nono Colussi, and there were plenty of lively bars in the area for aperitivi. The Views on Venice team extremely helpful in booking airport transfers and were always available to answer a question or supply a recommendation when needed. The apartment had everything we needed but nothing more...could have used a few extra blankets and pillows and a good sharp kitchen knife.

August long weekend

Overall a lovely property with excellent location and beautiful aspect. Aspects of the interior need updating, such as electrics in kitchen, which means some appliances couldn't work, and plug sockets around the apartment were of the older sort. We had an issue with an alarm sounding, but this was dealt with promptly without affecting our stay.

Perfect location and layout

We traveled as a family of 6 and this property was a home run. I had a lot of questions and they were all promptly answered. I appreciated the offer of transport to the property. A great way to arrive! The property was clean and really well laid out. We had four adult children with us and everyone had plenty of space. The square has several Conveniences that were helpful. We loved the fruit boat and the small market. Everything is an easy 15 minute walk. Frankly, with all of the eating we did, I was glad to have a little walk! I strongly recommend this property!

Perfect Location With All You Need

We were three couples staying for four nights in a Venetian apartment that had it all! An unobtrusive entry from the campo lead to a long entry hall with an evocative staircase on one side and light shining at the end through a leaded window that gave onto a small canal. Once through the doors of the apartment itself, you climb to the second floor to see spacious rooms including a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room, and a long dining room that became the scene of several happy dinners! The bedrooms were large with good size bathrooms. Another staircase led to the third bedroom which featured a roof top terrace that became another site for our group of six to be together. The apartment is very close to eth Ca' Rezzenico vaparetto stop which made it easy to get everywhere. Also nearby was Campo San Margherita with all matter of shops and amenities, as well as many places to eat and drinlk. It was the ideal place for our group to explore and enjoy Venice.

Great location. Fun to have outdoor space on the roof deck. We enjoyed the main apartment; with 2 couples, it worked well. We had one single adult using 3rd bedroom. We wished you didn’t have to go onto the roof deck outside, to get to the 3rd bedroom, however. Also, we wished the 3rd bedroom had a queen or king bed, instead of 2 twin beds. Bathroom associated with 3rd rooftop bedroom had such a small shower (with angled roof), it was impossible to stand up in there. My guest had to sit down in the shower on the shower floor. VERY awkward. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, pans, utensils. Grateful for WiFi and air conditioning in the bedrooms.

Lovely Home in Venice

Our family is 6 enjoyed our 4 day stay in this rental. The home was clean and well-maintained. The decor was elegant and inviting. The check-in and check-out process was straight forward. The beds were comfortable and the views off the porch and balcony- beautiful. The host was communicative, responsive and helpful! The only surprise was us was that the 3rd bedroom is detached from the main living quarters. You access the standalone bedroom from the roof m-to deck. We had a couple of older teenagers who were able to sleep there, but it was inconvenient for them to have to go outside and be separate from the family. The home is situated in small square with cafes, Da Vinci’s Museum, and little shops, There is a fresh fruit/vegetable market around the corner. You can arrange a water taxi to bring you to the square from the airport. So, almost front door service. We would return to the spot without hesitation!

The property manager had made all arrangements to transfer from the train station to the property via water taxi. All luggage loaded and unloaded by team. Only a few steps from the water taxi to the front door of the property. The property was spacious, meticulously clean and very quiet. What a gem and very reasonably priced.

Great location, Venice without the tourists

The location of this apartment in Dorsodoro is perfect to experience a Venice off the beaten path. No hoards of tourists. No tour groups pushing through your narrow alleys. Quiet mornings with the noise of Venetians on their way to work; evenings listening to the chatter of people in the square and the sound of gondola paddles. The apartment was well suited to our family of four. Loved having air conditioning in the hot summer. Enjoyed coffee on the balcony while watching the day unfold, and evening spritz the rooftop deck. Views were amazing. Kitchen was functional for our needs. Management was super responsive and helpful; assisting with reservations and a boat tour with Marco - a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend, and would return.

Sehr schöne Wohnung - top ausgestattet

Die Wohnung wirkt auf den Fotos etwas eleganter, Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Küchenausstattung sind aber erstklassig und sehr gepflegt. Sie liegt in einer sehr schönen Gegend, auf der Altana ist man komplett ungestört. Eindrucksvoll sind die Türknäufe aus Muranoglas, leider fehlt an der Küchentür schon einer. Man braucht recht viele Schlüssel - um in die Wohnung zu gelangen schon zwei und dann mindestens drei, um vom unteren Teil auf die Altana und ins oberste Schlafzimmer und wieder retour zu kommen. Da ist ein bisschen Konzentration notwendig, damit man sich nicht aussperrt. Die Treppen zur Altana sind - wie fast überall - steil und eng. Nichts für jemanden, der schlecht zu Fuß ist, aber da ist Venedig sowieso nicht die beste Wahl. Alles in allem eine sehr gepflegte, typisch traditionelle venezianische Wohnung mit viel Charme.

Traum mit Dachterrasse in unvergleichlich schönem Dorsoduro

Wir waren hier als Familie von Teenager bis Opa und Oma und hatten uns vom ersten Moment an einfach nur zuhause gefühlt!!! Es ist SO ein schönes Objekt und die Lage ein dermaßen wundervoller Traum, dass wir jeden Morgen beim Croissant holen das Gefühl hatten, wir würden Einheimische sein….. Großes Lob auch an Catarina, die immer erreichbar war, wenn wir etwas brauchten und sich sehr sehr liebevoll um uns alle kümmerte! Wir sagen GRAZIE MILLE von Herzen!

Formidable appartement

Très bien situé, surtout en été loin des foules. Un très bel appartement, spacieux et climatisé ce qui début août est très apprécié. Le verre le soir sur l’a lya Piana est très apprécié. Un accueil parfait, merci Caterina. Je recommande fortement !
