When we first arrived at the hotel, we had requested a room with two beds. We were assigned a room in a different building, which was not far, and that was not an issue. However, when we entered the room, we discovered that the entrance door lock was broken. The door could be opened from the outside with a slight push, even when it was locked.
We immediately notified the front desk. The receptionist came to check but was unable to fix the problem because the maintenance staff had already left. He promised that the issue would be fixed the next day. Since I was traveling with two small children, I was very concerned about our safety, especially because the room was not in the main hotel building but in a residential area. I was so worried that I had to place chairs behind the door, like in the movies, to feel safe.
In addition, the heating in the room was not working. The room was extremely cold, especially since we were traveling in January. We reported this issue as well, but during the two nights we stayed there, no one came to fix it, and the room remained cold.
