「The hotel is very nice. We stayed in a heritage Victorian-style house, and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. We left our luggage in the car and checked in first. The staff then showed us where to park, which was very convenient and close by.
However, the hotel may not be accessible for guests using wheelchairs or carrying heavy luggage, as there are around 10 stairs at the entrance.」
「Terrible decision to book here. Smells like a funeral home and huge spiders in our room. Hotel staff lost the spider while attempting to remove it from our room. We were told there was nothing they could do to help us. We left because my mom and I have a huge fear of bugs and booked another room elsewhere. Property charged us for a whole night and didn’t let us have our tea house breakfast. Instead gave us the free buffet next door and the wait staff stared us down. Horrible experience.」

Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. Manager had to be called and told to call the fire department. I would have thought maybe the manager would have received a notification that the alarm was going off. It was also a struggle to have it turned off and to stay off.

Breakfast has only one meat option - sausage or meatballs on each day I was there. Another protein option is egg. Good self-service waffle machine.
Location is excellent - close to the inner harbour and legislative assembly.」
「This was a lovely location with parking provided. Breakfast at the local diner was great. Of concern, was discovering hair on the side of the bathtub when I first went to use the bathtub and the floor hadn’t been vacuumed. Tidy room, but not clean.」
