"overall this place was great, the interiors were beautiful, and it even has an auto-heat rack to dry your towels. It's not too far from the city area where you can walk but if we wanted to go somewhere far using public transportation, it seems you would have to walk a little farther and have to switch transportation. It is close to the U-bahn, in a safe and quiet neighbourhood, close to the Karmelitermarkt and taken care of by two lovely and kind ladies who keep the place spotless. It is a bit older, but it has everything you need for a relaxed stay, and it is kept spotless by the caretakers. Highly recommended."

"I really like staying at Smartments Wien Westbahnhof. It is so close to the train station and the U1, close to amenities like grocery stores, and has a nice little kitchen--very functional. I have stayed here many times on business trips. But I don't know if I will stay again. It is terribly noisy, due to the neighboring properties (which I assume are youth hotels). With the window open on warm night, it can be very hard to sleep: large groups coming and going make noise outside late into...

"This was really the best hotel we were on our trip for two weeks. We stayed for five nights. Wonderful bedroom and bathroom. Front desk staff amazing, they helped us in everything we needed. And always with a big smile on the mouth. I want to recognize the job done by Lisa and Sara at front desk, and the job done by John in the restaurant serving us with excellence. Thanks for all John, Lisa, and Sara. If I will be in Vienna again, no doubt I will be in the Ananas. It is located very close to the city center, and close to the Schonbrun Palace too.
