Villa in Nature

  • On the island of Santa Maria, in the Azores, there is a little corner where you can step inside and find the tranquility and peace you need to disconnect from the fast pace of life and let yourself be swept up by the serenity of the surrounding atmosphere. This is our Little Corner of Paradise: a retreat where good taste and a sustainable philosophy will make you feel more than at home.
With floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor access from every room, and 360-degree views of the entire island, we know you’ll fall in love with our villa during your vacation: a skylight opens onto a living roof, where flowers, aromatic herbs, and medicinal plants grow—a living space perfectly integrated into nature.
Relaxation is always guaranteed as you soak in our outdoor stone bathtub while watching a breathtaking sunset or a starry sky in the silence of the night.
The entire 2-hectare property is surrounded by a private grove, created for moments of tranquility, perfect for contemplation.

Beautiful property with magnificent view

This property is a modern, well-equipped villa with a fantastic view of the island and sea. The owner replied immediately when we were having a difficulty with the stove (our lack of familiarity with the technology) even though they were off island on vacation. Weather was pretty miserable when we on Santa Maria, so the comforts were greatly appreciated. We had a terrible time contacting the owner for property location prior to our arrival, but this appears to be a problem with VRBO, not the owner. VRBO demands that all contact is through them, so if there is a problem with their website, it can be really difficult. The property is isolated so get in-depth directions before you arrive!
