“Nous avons passé un séjour globalement agréable à l’hébergement Sayu à Cozumel et nous le recommandons. L’emplacement est idéal, très près du centre-ville. Le site est magnifique, avec un beau jardin et une piscine très appréciée. Points positifs : lit King très confortable, climatisation silencieuse, 2e réfrigérateur pratique, grande table extérieure parfaite pour les repas, eau de douche bien chaude. Les vélos prêtés sont agréables mais malheureusement seulement 2 fonctionnels, les autres……

“We had a wonderful stay! The staff members were so friendly and helpful, as was the owner Pam. They really made us feel at home. The villas are beautiful charming little suites with the bedroom and bathroom in an upstairs loft. The gardens and pool are all very enchanting and well kept. The location is perfect- on a very quiet street but everything you need is right aground the corner. Very close to the town center. Perfect stay! ”

“Hotel was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We were in Cozumel visiting friends for four days and found Puerto Libre to be in an excellent spot right on the strip. It was far enough away from the cruise ship ports to be quiet yet accessible to all the hotspots. I highly recommend this hotel.”

“No water pressure when arrived which was fixed great third day. Pool is amazing. Room had bugs but was sprayed day two which helped. Love the view. Staff not always friendly and did not even acknowledge us when entering or leaving. The friendliness was quite different then our great Thanksgiving stay. Would recommend stay on upper levels only. The shower could not have been cleaned as no water pressure.”

“No complaints with our stay for 2 weeks. The room fit our needs with a wonderful view of the water. The pool deck area is comfortable with lots of options for lounging around the pool. It has an upscale feel to the whole pool area. The wait staff bringing beverages and food (tasty - although more expensive than in San Miguel, but fair for the poolside experience) are attentive and friendly. Snorkeling at the hotel is terrific … almost as good as the snorkeling tour we did. I think it is……

“Hotel Mary Carmen is a beautiful hotel which exceeded our expectations! Location is safe, quiet, very walkable (5min from the ferries, 1min from the plaza), and easy to find upon arrival. We loved the old-fashioned style with shared living spaces, and the garden and turtles. We appreciated the free water refill jugs on each floor and the first aid kits free for use. Our room was large (we got a free upgrade) and clean, had great wifi, quiet and functional AC unit, tidy bathroom, and good water……

“Excellent stay. Very comfortable room and shared spaces. We rented a scooter a few days directly from the property which was very convenient. Location is a little away from downtown which we found to be more quiet. Felt safe walking around even at night. There are several great food options within a few blocks. Would definitely stay again when in the area. ”

“This place was fine for wha we paid, honestly it was quick stop and we wanted a pool but it was not really in the best area if you want to venture out. ”

“The staff was helpful, the room and public areas were clean and well maintained. Great location. Air conditioning did not work. Management did not offer an apology nor did they offer some sort of compensation for our discomfort. My wife has asthma and had a difficult time.”
