“Be aware that there is on street parking that requires a permit from the city of Wilmington. Red Awni ng worked with me to resolve the issue but it took some time and a few texts to make it work.The on street parking placed me a block and half from the propery. No cost but need proof of renting the space. The GPS sent you down a one way street that does not bring by the front of the property. This was a problem finding the property after dark. “Room was clean. Small place but had everything we needed. If you are mainly showering and sleeping in room like I did because I was spending most of my time out as many do on vacation it works just fine. Also, my wife also left something behind and owner was good with communication about it and let us pop back in on following day to pick it up.”

“The Octopus Cottage was the perfect spot for a cozy getaway! Donna has thought of quite literally everything, the house is stocked from top to bottom. While we did not need anything during our stay, we knew we could always ask for anything - her communication was phenomenal the whole time. The location is perfect, just a few minutes away from Cape May and tons of breweries and restaurants. We had a wonderful time and hope to return!”

“I'm local to Wilmington and stayed here with my husband while our bathroom was being renovated. The apartment is adorable and in a great location, Trolley Square. Walkable to restaurants and bars. Parking can be tough, but it's a safe neighborhood, so to park a block away isn't a problem. This would be a good place to stay for someone who needed to be in Wilmington for business (there's a desk in the living room, and the wifi seemed reliable) or a couple coming here for an event or to check out……

“Here is the note I sent to the owner after I left. It never received a response.-My stay in the unit was not what I had expected. Upon arriving 6 hours later than expected due to a delayed flight, I walked into the apartment to find it smelled horrible. Dirty water had been left in the bottom of the dishwasher (still is) and had started to grow fungus and mold. There was no dishwasher soap in the unit so I ran it on sanitize to do what I could to make the smell go away. I'm very grateful the……
