The region around Visnjan is famous for its excellent local produce and authentic gastronomy, which is offered in many restaurants, rural agritourisms and rustic cellars. There is even a famous observatory among the town's attractions. The surrounding area also has numerous hiking and cycling routes. One of the most beautiful is the 'Parenzana', a historic railroad line that runs over old viaducts and through tunnels, making a ride on the little tourist train a real experience! The old Roman town of Porec, just 10 km away, provides more excitement.
