Parks do not Necessarily Mean Peace!
At first it seemed a dream come true- a hotel in the middle of a park away from all the noise of the street. Unfortunately, a wedding party on the first night put paid to the hope of much relaxation. I could understand why the guests might want to dance to music until midnight but did workmen really need to spend the next three hours clattering about dismantling equipment?
No special events the next night which resulted in the peace I had expected.
On the positive side, the hotel is reasonably priced, in an interesting location and has attentive reception staff (special thanks to Ekaterina for tracking down the taxi driver who had left without giving change.) On the negative side, it is some distance from the city centre. Buses go quite regularly from the nearby road but expect fairly high taxi fares if you want to stay out late.
Recommended but check whether there will be a celebration on the night of your stay. If so, a room at the front of the hotel should protect you from most of the noise.
