「I only have one small complaint about our stay at Dancing Bear Lodge - the mattress needs replacing (it felt like falling in a hole). Everything else was wonderful - clean, comfortable, welcoming, attractive. Loved welcome basket and lots of towels. Setting is lovely and nice comp'd breakfast at Apple Valley Cafe. Would gladly stay here again.」

「The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. 」

「I can see why they will not refund your money. The rooms are very small and the floors creak terrible. They even know this by the sign walking in asking you to walk softly. Walls are paper thin and you can hear others talking. I feel like my money was stolen. From the conversation I heard from other guests while looking at the room we are not the only ones disappointed with the room. I might be wasting my time writing all this since Heather from the property management was deaf to any complaints...
