Waikoloa Beach Visit

My family and I just spent 9 nights here and had the very best time. The space is exactly as it appears and the lanai opening up to the outside space is just lovely!

Amazing stay!

Great place for home base to explore the big island. It was so helpful to have access to the gear that we would otherwise have to rent. Comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. There was nothing else we could have needed!

Great place for families

We had a great time during our stay in Waikoloa. The on-site pool was kid friendly and easy to get to from our unit. There are 2 Peloton bikes in the gym area that we took advantage of during our stay. Would definitely stay again if we make it back to the Big Island.

Perfect location

Lovely views and very well-appointed. Bikes, beach gear and toys, cooler, etc. were an added bonus and much appreciated. We enjoyed everything about the condo and would definitely book it again!

This is a stellar property, updated and providiing absolutely everything needed for a wonderful Hawaiian vacation, including access to the marvelous Ocean Club with pool, spa, and dining. The house is clean, comfortable, and stocked with literally everything! The views from the lanai make this the perfect stay!

Great base for paradise

We loved all the beach chairs and umbrellas, sports equipment and especially the bikes. The kitchen was well stocked which was super helpful. It was perfect for my family plus the grandparents.

Memorable Stay, Will be back!

We absolutely fall in love with this community, the property is at a perfect location. Mini-golf and tennis court right across the street. Laurie is an excellent host, communicated with us through out the months prior to our trip and answered so many questions about the area. We had a great stay at this house!

Beautiful and well maintained property! Close to shops and resorts. Fully stocked kitchen . Check In was seamless and easy. Got to meet owners and sweet as can be!! Condo was clean and beautifully styled! Will definitely stay here again!!

A slice of paradise

We stayed here for a week- two families with three teenage boys. The sun was setting when we arrived to the property and the view from the back patio was breathtaking! The property is well maintained, but the best part was how available and helpful Laurie Jo was both pre and during our trip! We will hopefully be back soon!

Hali'i Kai for Tennis Players

Laurie Jo's unit was immaculate. It had all the linens, cookery, furnishings to make our stay wonderful. We enjoyed having breakfast on the lanai and even saw a whale spouting one morning! The pool area is a 7 minute walk and the tennis court is just across the street.

Beautiful condo on the golf course with ocean view for sunsets. Short walk to nice pool. Lots of areas to stroll. A bit tight for 6 as advertised. Fortunately we had 2 teenagers that could make do with althernate seating. Overall al great stay

Great location. Clean. The club/pool is a wonderful perk! Host was responsive and friendly. Only nick-picks: wifi is just ok and the in-house folder with all the details was missing things like check-out info. But that's what your app is for!

Family fun & low key luxury

We will definitely be back! Thank you so much! Laurie has an amazing set up for the whole family. Everything you could need for beach going and biking. We loved relaxing at the ocean club pool and restaurant. Salt water pool was gentle for baby and a great temperature. The restaurant menu had good variety and the employees were very friendly! The ocean club had incredible whale watching. Floor level unit was great for my mom and 7 month old. Community was gated and felt very private. Short distance from wonderful beaches, golf courses and grocery stores. We enjoyed going to Island Vintage Coffee for Açaí bowls and morning caffeine!

Great place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in 7H. The condo was clean and had everything needed for our time in Hawaii. Beds were comfortable, not saggy or squishy. The kitchen was one of the best stocked we’ve ever had in a rental! The views are AMAZING from the living room and patio. We loved being able to walk out the sliding doors onto the green belt for ocean views by day and star gazing by night, also the pool/bar/dining is just a short walk away. From the garage we used bicycles to explore & pick up a few items from the nearby market, and snorkel gear was great to have on hand...no renting each time we had the urge to get out in the ocean! Laurie Jo was friendly and always available by text or telephone prior to and throughout our stay. All in all a wonderful vacation!

Heavenly Hali’i Kai

An amazing sunset seen from the lanai welcomed us to the Big Island after our long journey, and every night after that. Prime viewing for endless sunsets. Laurie Jo and Paul were so welcoming, and very easy to communicate with. Any questions were promptly answered. This was the perfect space for our family of 5. I loved that it was a first floor walk out. The cross breeze with the screened front door is wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable. Laurie Jo made sure we were equipped with beach towels and plenty of necessities. I highly recommend this property and hope we can return someday. Very sad to leave 😢Mahalo Laurie Jo & Paul

We had an amazing time on the island and it was great coming back after a long day of adventures to a very nice place to call home for two weeks. Paradise in Waikoloa

Home was beautiful, had everything you needed. I’ve stayed at many properties and Laurie Jo thought of everything. She was very responsive to any issues that came up and was gracious enough to let us extend our checkout time. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant holiday in a beautiful location

We absolutely loved our stay at Hali'i Kai in 7H. It was perfect for our family and located on the ground floor with a lovely view over the golf course to the ocean. There is a bbq and patio furniture to dine outdoors. The owner was amazing. She communicated quickly with any question we had. She even offered to shop for us as we were arriving late at night. What a lovely surprise to come in to find everything we needed for breakfast and more! Thank you again Laurie Jo!The kitchen was a cook's dream; very well supplied with high end appliances and everything you could possibly need to prepare meals. The icing on the cake was all of the beach gear and other equipment in the garage. Our little guys really enjoyed the kids size masks, snorkels and fins, the boogie boards and other play equipement. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas and adult sized boogie boards and more.We would highly recommend this unit, they have really thought of everything! We can't wait to return!

The best condo in Hawaii!

What a place! Loved every minute of this rental. We have never stayed in such a well stocked home including all you need in a kitchen and so much beach gear. Do not hesitate booking with such a lovely and communicative host in a condo with such a special view. Fun and spacious for 5 adults and my 3.5 year old was happy our entire stay.

Laurie Jo and Paul’s place is truly exceptional!

Hali’i Kai’s location and easy access into the beautifully landscaped, private community provides a sense of quiet serenity in paradise, yet it is merely minutes by car (or by foot, or on the provided bikes) to the shopping areas and the rest of what the Waikoloa Beach Resort has to offer. This unit is beautifully decorated; spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. The kitchen is extremely well equipped; and the private lanai looks out over the greens towards the ocean, lending itself to an amazing view and incredible sunsets. Laurie Jo and Paul generously provide bikes and enough sports and beach equipment to satisfy anyone’s needs. Also included is access to Hali’i Kai’s private Ocean Club. The views and sunsets from the beautiful pools, work out room, and dining area are stunning. The staff is attentive and welcoming, the food portions are LARGE and everything was delicious. To top it all off, Laurie Jo’s Spirit of Aloha, hospitality, and attention to detail make her the quintessential host. She and Paul provide an impressive compendium of resources and suggestions to enhance your stay. Laurie Jo went over and above to make sure we had everything we needed. She is an absolute delight which is reflected in every aspect of their beautiful Hale. True Paradise!!
