Good location. Not far from the Spa racing circuit. The recreation room is great ...

Good location. Not far from the Spa racing circuit. The recreation room is great. It has a BBQ, different games and kitchen. Unfortunately the recreation room is not part of the house. The first and second floor of the house is for the guests. The flour level is for the owner of the house. Basically you can use the stairs to the owners place inside the house. A bit awkward. The beds were small and the sleeping rooms are decorated like the '70's. House needs a renovation. You can access the guest entrance by stairs on the outside of the house. There is no toilet in the recreation room so you need to use the stairs to the guest house which is annoying. The garden looks nice. In overall I would not book this place again. Too expensive for what you get.

Because of the stairs inside and outside, less attractive for small children. Outside everything can be optimally used which is certainly a plus. Especially in summer Located in a quiet street. Little to no forest within walking distance with small children. Yet had fantastic holiday. In the village baker, butcher and grocer present.

Questa casa è abbastanza spaziosa, con abbastanza spazio per la nostra famiglia di sei persone, I servizi sono al top, soprattutto la sala giochi con calcio balilla e air hockey, Abbiamo avuto qualche problema con il WiFi, era un po' lento, ma siamo riusciti a goderci il soggiorno comunque, Il vicino Parco Naturale degli Alti Fens è un must per gli amanti della natura, Torneremo sicuramente!

Schöner Aufenthalt in Waimes

Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und hat alles was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr angenehm. Lediglich die Einrichtung (Betten) ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber für ein paar Tage völlig ausreichend.

Wij hebben dit verblijf geboekt omdat wij onze honden ( witte herder en Rhodesian Ridgeback) mee wilden nemen. Voorwaarden: een omheinde tuin, zodat ze veelvuldig buiten konden ‘spelen’. Bij aankomst bleek dat de tuin niet volledig omheind was. Daarbij is de ingang van de woning via een brandtrap te betreden. De honden hebben door de brandtrap meerdere nageltjes gescheurd helaas. Tevens gaf de eigenaresse bij aankomst aan dat grote honden in principe niet welkom waren. Deze accommodatie is er ook zeker niet geschikt voor. Verder is de woning wel heerlijk ruim en echt goed schoon. In de keuken staan ontzettend veel borden, glazen, schalen en ander keukengerei. Alles is opgeruimd en schoon. Niets smoezelig. De woning en de inrichting is gedateerd. Maar heeft wel kwalitatieve oude spullen. Geen ‘Ikea’ materialen. De vochtige ruimtes hebben duidelijk hun gebruikssporen, en laten schimmelvorming zien. Maar de ruimtes zijn wel schoon, je kunt dit niet wegpoetsen. De eigenaresse verblijft onder de gehorige woning. Parkeren dien je vlak voor de woning te doen. Maar wel op aanwijzing van de eigenaresse. De omgeving is hier prachtig!

Ondanks het weer, toch genoten van de Waimes. Het is een heel mooie omgeving en het huis is heel goed gelegen voor een uitstap naar Malmedy, Botrange,.....mooie wandelingen in de buurt en ook de winkels zijn dichtbij.
