“Shi was the front desk clerk. She was absolutely WONDERFUL. Food was good but not many options. The bananas could have been a little fresher, they had black spots all over them. Other than that it was quiet except for the elephants living above us. Would definitely go back again”

“Our family had a great time. There was plenty of space for everyone to be alone when they needed it, but absolutely plenty of space to come together. Kitchen was fully stocked with all of the pots/pans/utensils needed. The house is right on the water with convenient access. The front yard was perfect for our dog. The beach amenities were great. Contact with the host was quick and easy. We loved it and would love to come back. ”

“This is the second time we've stayed at the Retreat and we've thoroughly enjoyed both stays. The house is located in a very quiet area with beautiful views of the St Mark's river from the screened porch. The house was spotless when we arrived and had everything we needed to prepare meals and relax when not out on a daily adventure. The area offers endless opportunities for outdoor activities, our favorite being the St. Mark's Wildlife Reserve. Day trips to Apalachicola, Alligator Point, St……

“We had a wonderful stay at the Spotted Grouper. The cottage is quiet and peaceful, and the sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico were beautiful. We enjoyed walking on the beach, collecting shells, and really appreciated how close to nature the area is — including an unexpected bear sighting!We stayed in December, which was a great time to visit: cool and chilly mornings and evenings, with sunny, comfortably warm days. I traveled from Annapolis with my mom, and the trip was especially meaningful……
