Waldport port ocean home

After speaking with neibor there is a public beach easement your allowed to walked along the fence line strait to the ocean. It's not private property. Good info there.

Everything was absolutely perfect except for the fact that the first thing I had to do was clean up all the dog poop from previous guests. This should be part of the housekeeping that gets done. Giests should not have to clean up after the previous guests.

Fun cozy place

My son was fascinated with the loft.. very fun artwork and unique knick knack was fun to look at.. Husband wasn't a fan of the skylight in the bedroom but I got used to it fairly fast.. loved the ocean view and the yard was great for the kids.. would stay here again over and over..

Overall good

There were a few issues that could have been better explained in the listing. Beach access requires crossing Hwy 101, backyard access is through the master bedroom, and backyard fence is only 3-4 feet high (our dog easily jumped over it).

Overall good

Overall a good property. Be aware a couple of things were unclear in the listing. The fence in the yard is only 3-4 feet high. Our dog jumped over it. The exit to the backyard is through the master bedroom which was disruptive when we needed to let the dog out.

Would not recommend

Very convenient location in Waldport. But dishwasher didn't work. Grill didn't work. Wheelchair ramp very hard on pet paws. Most of the windows in the living area don't open! And wasn't the nicest of locations. Vacasa not particularly helpful, which is echoed in other guests' reviews.

Waldport summer getaway

Coast Visit with Family

Being located right in the middle of Yachats and Waldport makes this a perfect landing place for clamming and hiking. The kitchen had one of everything, the loft is fun and has a view of the water, and the laundry machines were strong enough to wash the coast off of our gear.

Wonderful location

The home is older but so quiet in spite of being just off the 101! It was so wonderful to be able to still hear the ocean . Great view! Loved the handicapped accessible entrance ramp and the wide doorways to accommodate a wheelchair. Handicap accessible shower was a big plus.

Coast Trip

Overall we had a nice quiet stay at this location. The house was easy to find and we appreciate the fully fenced yard with grass. The amenities could use an upgrade, especially the beds which were worn out.
