「My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. For us it was a last-minute getaway. The price was very reasonable. The property was well kept. The innkeepers were very welcoming and helpful but not intrusive. The breakfasts were very good. The location is about ten minutes away from the beach at Nags Head. The steps are quite steep but as mentioned elsewhere quite typical of the time period the home was built in early 1900's. I'm 73 and had no problem with carrying suitcases up the stairs. 「This is a charming old inn in a convenient location. It doesn’t have many amenities but it was fine for the price. It was very convenient to have a code for the rooms as opposed to a key. There was coffee on site but not breakfast. We found out on our second day that we could get a voucher for breakfast at a local restaurant. I wish I had known the first morning we were there. The rooms are small but fine for 2 days. The bed wasn’t very comfortable, but we really enjoyed staying there.」

「Great location and helpful staff. Clean accommodations, if a bit dated. That being said, the overpowering smell of the cleaning solution was a real challenge. I stayed 3 nights and it was almost in normal range the day I left. I kept my door open as often as I could to help air it out. Also the coffee pot didn’t work without holding the top closed under pressure. The result was coffee that tasted too much like the cleaning solution I had breathed in all night.」

「No staff, drive up and punch in one of the beds was missing its blanket cover, and did see one bug, but the beds were okay no bugs in them. Overall it was ok nice view, self service. Went to spend The Weeknd with my friends for my bday had a great time, safe place to stay that didn’t break my pockets.」
