Very clean, good breakfast and extremely nice and accommodating staff, especially the restaurant (one or two of the front desk clerks weren’t the most friendly- not rude just seemed like I was annoying them if I asked a question- maybe I was lol, but overall I still give 5 stars. “Melrose Place Boutique is a jewel in the heart of Johannesburg. A small hotel (35 rooms) in a pretty residential neighborhood. Surrounded by lush vegetation and a small but beautiful swimming pool, it is both cozy and relaxing to sit on your patio and enjoy the view and quiet. Breakfast was delicious, with a continental buffet and eggs made to order - it is perfect. The hotel arranges for a shuttle to and from the airport. All the staff are helpful friendly. “Exceptional Boutique Hotel with period furniture, rich paintings, large rooms, excellent decor, well maintained small hotel. The building is a Heritage building converted from an old telephone exchange and post office. Location is on Oxford Road, next to Metro station, and is close to Rosebank Mall - they provide Golf cart service. Safe location. Staff is excellent and responsive and friendly. The breakfast is very good. Very happy with the stay and would consider it again.”
