“From the very first moment to the very last, everything felt genuinely wonderful. We’re surrounded by Michelin starred spots at home, yet The Grosvenor’s food doesn’t just keep up…. it outshines so many of the places on our doorstep. Dinner was beautiful, breakfast was a delight, and the coffee was pure happiness in a cup. Every member of staff was warm and lovely, the bed felt like sinking into a hug, and all the little touches were so thoughtfully and beautifully done. My only complaint was……

“Friendly helpful staff, lovely ambience, no problem with late night return (from a party), comfy beds, great breakfast and nice village. Only criticism was slightly ageing (noisy) extractor fan in bathroom and ancient double glazing arrangement made opening a window quite a task. But all in all an excellent stay.”

“This was an amazing experience! These people have been doing this for 40 years, and have it down! Hospitality is second nature to them! Everything was lovely! They gave us the family suite so we wouldn’t have to bring our luggage upstairs. Hilary made the most perfect breakfast and it was so lovely to chat with her. Highly recommend this place for home away from home! Definitely going back again!”

“Beautiful property just outside of Salisbury. Mark and Fiona were extremely welcoming. We only stayed the one night and thoroughly enjoyed Marks breakfast the following morning ”

“We stayed in the room called 'The General' - A gorgeous room in the main building with a lovely four poster bed and a balcony. The room was great, it could just do with a little TLC on a few parts (Very minor). Great staff, lovely pub and wonderful food and drink.”

“Really enjoyed our stay. Welcome was courteous and helpful. We had an evening meal which was delicious. Service was great. Breakfast was the highlight! Enjoyed the Dorset dairy yoghurt. One very minor point no smoked salmon alternative to bacon with the eggs Benedict but mushroom was suggested instead and was equally delicious. Overall an excellent stay room was comfy, cosy and clean - thank you 🙏”

“Really great everyone is so friendly, rooms are very clean and up to excellent standards. The food is brilliant very kind waiters. Reasonable price for the hotel with breakfast included. Only thing I would say is parking is very limited and extremely tight drive way wouldn’t recommend big cars. ”

“We arrived around 5:00Pm, for a long weekend the wether was stormy. We struggled to find the place as it is in the middle of nowhere next to a farmhouse. The layout was good with ample space but there’s no shower gels or hand washing soap in bathrooms. Heating stopped working the next day. Tried contacting the Sykes office and unable to get through. Eventually managed to get through to someone who sent an engineer to fix it. Poor internet connection and satellite signal for sat navigation in……
