Modern furnished terraced bungalow in a family-run holiday complex, quietly located on the edge of the forest and in a fantastic location directly on the Groß Labenzer See, one of the cleanest and most fish-rich lakes in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The large communal property is only separated from the lake with a lovely bathing area and snack bar by a traffic-calmed road. Enjoy your breakfast in the sunshine on the terrace and then look forward to wonderful hours on and by the water or discover the seemingly endless forests of the Sternberger Seenland Nature Park. On request and for a fee, you can rent rowing boats and SUPs depending on availability and at reception you can also rent a fire bowl with wood for cozy evenings and an electric grill (EUR 5 per day). The Groß Labenzer See is near Warin, northeast of Schwerin in the middle of a Natura 2000 landscape conservation area. Here you can perfectly combine nature, sport, swimming and culture during your vacation. In nearby Warin, you can stroll through the streets and treat yourself to a delicious fish dish or other local specialties in one of the restaurants. On your excursions, you can also discover the easily accessible cities of Schwerin, Wismar, Güstrow and Rostock. Highlights included: Wi-Fi (subject to availability), laundry package, final cleaning Activities nearby: There are other excellent fishing lakes in the immediate vicinity as well as private fishing ponds about 1.5 km away. The Sternberger Seenland Nature Park, the Warnow, the Groß Labenzer See and the many forests and meadows are ideal starting points for hikes, bike tours and various water sports. Thanks to the central location in the heart of Mecklenburg, both the Baltic Sea and Schwerin or Wismar can be reached in 20 minutes. It is less than 45 minutes to Rostock and even day trips to Lübeck, Hamburg or Berlin are no problem.
