“We had a wonderful 12 day stay. The cabin was very clean, and the neighborhood was beautiful; very wooded area. Cabin has all the amenities, even snacks and cold drinks in the fridge as a welcome touch. Plenty of brochures on area attractions are laid out. Very peaceful sitting on the swing in the screened in porch, listening to the brook down the hill. One thing to note, there are about 8 domestic geese in the area that you will hear from sunrise to sunset if you are on the porch. You……

“For the price, it was totally worth the stay. Plan I plan on staying there again next year.!”

“The room was good. Needs a bit of maintenance. The view was absolutely wonderful. The door handle lock to the balcony was broken, but since we were on the third floor, I was not too worried. There were ants in the bathroom and in some other parts of the room. The location was great. The beach is right across from the lodge. And the fairgrounds are very near and an easy walk to the boat launches. The breakfast is ok. There is syrup, but no waffle makers or frozen waffles/pancakes to use it on.……

“Breakfast menu was not good. Just your basic continental breakfast. They had no fruit. And the eggs were frozen pre packaged. ”

“Hotel was fine, but I missed having the swimming pool. I'm sorry about the vandalism and hope that the area can somehow be secured.”

“Everyone I met that worked there was amazing. Friendly and helpful. Although the room was very clean and comfortable, there are quite a few maintenance issues that I spotted. Also the hallways kinda smell. We hated the coffee in the room. It was horrible. Not to mention there are not many plugs so I had to put the coffee maker on the floor by the bed. The breakfast buffet was the best part! Yum! For the price, I expected to at least use the pool but it was being treated.”
