Jamieson Cottage - a couples retreat, is a renovated self contained 1br cottage and located in the best central, heritage tree lined area of Warrnambool, Great South Coast of Victoria. Only 2 blocks to the city centre, 1km from the racecourse, 2km from the beach and and 50mtrs from the botanical gardens, indoor pool and gym.

Its location would suit any discerning couple wanting a break to enjoy cafes, restaurants, pubs, racecourse, beaches and all that Warrnambool offers within a short walking distance.

Short drives exposes wider surrounds such as Port Fairy and the Twelve Apostles on the Great Ocean Road and great fishing locations.

What does Jamieson Cottage offer:

Jamieson Cottage is a 1 bedroom fully self-contained superbly appointed retreat for couples only. With luxury furnishings, gas log fire, environmentally friendly appliances and excellent kitchen facilities and equipment, spacious bathroom and laundry.

A large deck area facing north, comfortable outdoor furniture and gourmet BBQ, ensures you can maximise sunny days during your stay while being under cover.

Could not have asked for more

From the moment we walked into the cottage, we felt right at home. Lyneve had made sure the cottage was cool on the hot day we arrived - blinds down and fans on. The cottage is so close to the town centre you can walk there. Off street parking is a bonus. We stayed 4 nights and cooked dinner for ourselves during that time as well as going out to eat. Lovely decor and all amenities.

Ideal location

A beautiful quiet location. Don't be put off by the busy road outside, you certainly cannot hear anything once you are snuggled into the cottage down the back of the property. The kitchen had everything you could need to cook up a feast. The backyard and outdoor deck were perfect for afternoon drinks. The interior was very clean. There were plenty of instructions to guide you how to operate things. The location was perfect to local cafes, supermarket and entertainment. There are also plenty of home delivery options if you just want to stay in the cosy cottage. A very lovely property which we highly recommend.

Jamieson Cottage Exceeded Expectations

Beautifully presented cottage, looked exactly like the advertised photos so no surprises. The owners were so thoughtful and left us a card and chocolates as we were celebrating my birthday and our wedding anniversary ❤️ The cottage exceeded our expectations. Great location and so cosy

We will definitely stay here again when down that part of the world and highly recommend to our family and friends. Perfect location for walking to most things, all our needs thought of. Well presented and equipped with a lovely garden.

Driveway wasn’t user friendly so had to park on the street. I found the bed very hard causing back ache. The weather detracted from the holiday. Appreciated the easy access to the great ocean road and local botanical gardens.

Stylish and well appointed cottage with everything you could need. Excellent location - an easy walk into the main restaurant/shopping precinct. Warrnambool Botanic Gardens just around the corner. Lovely and quiet for a good night's sleep. Lyneve and Colin are excellent hosts and all communication was great. I look forward to a return visit.
