Attractive home that is a short distance to DC and to Old Town Alexandria. Many restaurants and coffee shops are a short walk from the house along Mount Vernon Avenue which is the heart of Del Ray...an adorable neighborhood in Alexandria.

The neighborhood and house were great. Mark was responsive to questions and issues that came up while we were there. A few things to know:1. This is an older duplex, and the wall separating the units is not very soundproof. You won't hear everything next door, but you will hear the louder sounds.2. We were excited by the fenced yard for my dog. However, there is a dog next door (sharing a chainlink fence), and the fence between the units is only plastic. Things to be aware of if you have an unfriendly dog or an escape artist.

Stayed for 2 weeks while visiting family nearby. Location was perfect, easy to get to shops & restaurants in Old Town and Del Ray. Quiet neighborhood, home was comfortable and clean. Would stay there again if/when I need tor return for an extended stay.
