Wayne was a fabulous host! The apartment was fantastic and clean. The location was so easy to get to by metro that we didn’t need anything but metro to get around. Wayne provided quite a lot of extra amenities and his advice for the area is unparalleled! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I’ll be referring anyone I know to stay at this location if they are visiting D.C.

Vacation to DC stay

Wayne is an excellent host. He met us promptly and had a lovely selection of snacks, pastries, and fresh coffee waiting for us after a long days travel. He is very informative with lots of information on things to do and how to get everywhere while visiting Washington DC. Although the neighborhood is a an older area it is safe and everyone we crossed in the streets were pleasant. The closeness to the blue line metro can’t be beat. You can get anywhere you want in a few short minutes.

Easy access to metro, amazing host

This was a great location for getting around DC, the metro station was literally a 3 minute walk down the same road, no turns no confusion. The host was super informative prior to and during the trip. He was great about checking in and giving us suggestions that fit our groups needs. When our flight was delayed he worked with us to allow the other half of our party access to the property before we got there. Definitely a surprise find in a big city. Highly recommend!

Cozy, Comfortable, and Convenient

My mother, sibling, and I stayed here for about a week while we were in town for a concertgeneral DC sightseeing, and I cannot recommend this property enough. Of course, one of the main pluses of the location is that it's literally less than a 5 minute walk to the nearest metro station. If you're looking to go around DC without having to drive, this is definitely your place! Additionally, Wayne is a great host. He's very welcoming and kind, and is super knowledgable about the area. He had fruit prepared for us when we arrived, and even brought us coolies during our stay. There are plenty of amenities stocked in his property as well; he has just about anything you'd need to make yourself at home. He also has plenty of travel guides and personal knowledge about sightseeing in the area, and he provided us with metro cards to use during our stay.Overall, my family and I had a great time staying at this apartment. It really felt like a home away from home when we'd return after a long, hot day of walking around DC. 10/10, would definitely stay again!

Great Stay

This was a wonderful place, and Wayne was a wonderful host. He had a cheese plate awaiting us for our anniversary and was always quick to reply and suggest activities around town. The apartment was small and cozy, just as described. The bed was pretty soft, but I like it that way. We felt safe here day or night out walking from the Metro Station that was a little over 500 feet away and VERY CONVIENENT! Overall A++

Good Metro Access

Convenient location for Metro access. Host provided plenty of info for public transportation, sight-seeing & grocery/restaurant options; also provided pasta on the first evening so I didn't need to venture out after driving all day. I appreciated being able to use the patio area.Thanks Wayne!

Great affordable location

We traveled from Indianapolis and planned on spending most of our trip visiting the Smithsonian. This location is so close to a metro station and had good reviews so we booked it. We all felt safe and the host was very attentive. Our neighbor even helped open the gate for me while my hands were full with groceries. I would recommend staying here.

Perfect vacation spot

Wayne is a very gracious host. The apartment is just as described. My family and I had a very comfortable stay and if we had any questions, Wayne was available to answer them. The apartment was ready for us when we arrived and Wayne provided many staple items if we needed them. We have already recommended this to our friends. If you want a place close to the metro this is the perfect place.

Haven in the city

We loved that this apt is so close to the metro which we used over and over daily during our stay. Wayne was a personable host who left us food to jump start our stay, many brochures and books about the area and advice. Though this apt is located in a less-advantaged side of the city, every single person we met in the area was helpful and friendly. The apt met our needs. Would return.

Welcoming and warm

This was the most well equipped, hospitable VRBO I have experienced. The owner was so helpful, he explained the trains and buses, had many recommendations for places to get groceries or to see in DC. The train station is so close and easy to find and not that long of a trip into the museums. We had a wonderful experience in the city and in the apartment.

An awesome week in DC with a wonderful host.

A lovely and quaint apartment with everything one could need for a very comfortable stay. More importantly Wayne is a wealth of information and assistance who truly enhanced our visit to DC. We were well pleased with the apartment’s proximity to the metro and DCs excellent public Transit system. The walk to the metro is barely 2 minutes. I know where we’ll stay the next time we visit DC.

Fully equiped flat near the metro

This flat has everything you need including washing machine, games, books and even a waffle maker. Furthermore Wayne provides lots of food and other essentials - no need to go shopping on your first day. Blue and silver lines depart just around the corner directly to airports and National Mall.

Our host was beyond our expectations. He supplied us with information before our stay. As we arrived the refrigerator was filled we all kind of food like eggs, bacon, orange juice and fruit. Beyond that he was very kind, helpful at full of tips. Never had a better host!

Convenient, cute apartment perfect for exploring DC! With the best host!

Great experience! First time visiting DC for our family, and highly recommend. So close to the Metro, it’s easy to get anywhere. Small but functional apartment works as a good resting spot between adventures. Beds are very comfortable! Description is on point. Wayne is fabulous and goes above and beyond - food in the fridge and cabinets, provides metro cards, information, helpful tips, anything you need. Great alternative to expensive hotels.

Convenient location and helpful manager

This property is accurately depicted in the photos. It is very conveniently located close to the metro. We didn't hava any issue with parking. Wayne is the most helpful host I've encountered. He made sure that we understood the metro system, gave recommendations for sites to see, provided us with metro cards that we could load, and left fruit on the table. He really went above and beyond. The apartment was well stocked with a variety of supplies that were helpful.

DC Trip

Wayne went out of his way sharing information about DC before we arrived. When we arrived Wayne further explained the subway system and places to eat along with providing food for our first night. AC worked great, accommodations were comfortable. Location to access subway was perfect. Neighbors were friendly. I would recomend this VRBO. Thanks for your great hospitality Wayne

Close to metro, further from DC, great host

Host was very friendly and provided fruit and other items for our arrival. Very accommodating when we needed to use a printer. Apartment is further from DC but close to metro so it was very convenient. Street does look a little scary but neighbors were nice, and we had absolutely no problems. We would definitely stay there again because we were able to cook some meals and park our vehicle for five days.
