“I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this small apartment conveniently located in downtown Downieville. Great views of the town below and surrounding mountains. The lodging was very clean and comfortable with a quiet atmosphere conducive to relaxation. As previous reviewers have mentioned the driveway up to the house is very steep so make sure you have decent tires and put your car in low gear before heading up the road! I would be happy to stay here again next time I make it to Downieville.”

“I normally i don’t leave any bad comments but this time I really had to and let other guests know what to expect so theirs vacation doesn’t get ruined.First of all their entertainment room is in the basement and it gets flooded. So don’t expect you can use it all the time. During our stay it was flooded twice and the 2nd time no one cane to clean it up. When we arrived the dishes were dirty so we had to wash the and the cooking pots are very old and unusable. We used one pot and one fry pan to……
