Stayed for UNI Homecoming weekend. The hotel is dated. Rooms (bathrooms) needed to be deep cleaned better as grime/mildew can be seen in all corners.
No cleaning happened between nights. Had to request more towels from maid. For $200+/night, i would expect the towels to be exchanged at the very least.
Overall, it’s a good location close to UNI campus.
Staff was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the elevator broke the first night we were there so being on the third floor that made it diffucult for my husband and I because we are elderly and had 2 energetic grandchildren with us. The staff looked into it right away but the elevator was out of commission for the remainder of our stay. The breakfast was good. Good selection. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was a also very convenient location.
The breakfast was great. They greeted us and got us checked in and explained everything in a timely and friendly manner. The staff is amazing and helpful. The place and room was clean.
The rooms were clean, staff was friendly. The only reason I scored this location a 4 was because breakfast wasn't served until 7:30 a.m. (and we needed to be on the road then). During the week, it begins at 6 a.m. It's not that big of a deal - just something to consider as breakfast is a part of the room cost.
Room was very clean and spacious. Included all standard immenities of microwave, refrigerator, iron, desk, etc. Staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast had nice variety of choices. Enjoyed our two day stay and will use again.

It was a nice spacious room, and good area. But the door was damaged when we checked in, had two bugs in the bathtub and the corner piece of the wall was falling apart other than those issues, bedroom was clean, breakfast was amazing! and loved the pool hours!
The rooms were clean but the bathroom had no vent fan. There was mold in the bathroom ceiling vent. Moisture in there made the floors incredibly slippery. The tub was stained and the shower curtain wouldn't stay closed and water went everywhere. The elevator broke our first day there and wasn't repaired yet when we left. We were on the third floor and had issues getting all our things up and down. The staff was kind enough to help us move our things. Front desk staff were friendly but their English was tough to understand. Breakfast buffet was nice and well maintained. We probably wouldn't stay here again due to having the issues with mold.
The hotel was just okay. Room was clean and quiet at night, and bed was comfortable. But apart from that, there were some issues that left a bad impression. The one elevator serving the entire hotel was broken and was not repaired as we were told it would be during our stay. We felt stairs were unacceptable for elderly guests or anyone with mobility or balance issues. Breakfast food and coffee were poor quality, and the kitchen microwave was very dirty with egg splattered on the inside. I believe it had not been cleaned from the day before as no one else was in the dining area when I came downstairs very early to get coffee. Pool and hot tub smelled very strongly of chlorine and my husband could not stay in the area longer than 5 minutes. Either over-chlorinated or under-ventilated. This (and more) left us with a negative impression of Country Inn and Suites, at least at this location.

We had four rooms reserved. Check-in was at 3:00. When we arrived @ 5:00, two rooms were not ready. We had to have three beds remade, as there were hairballs in the sheets. We were the first in line for breakfast. I love these b'fasts; however, as I was the first to put scrambled eggs onto my plate and sat down to eat, the scrambled eggs were ice cold...not joking! But the sausage was hot! A quick heat-up in the microwave fixed the cold eggs. There seemed to be only two working :( They were very kind, but these are big mistakes.
