Our Cozy Cottage stay!

This cabin was absolutely amazing! Secluded enough for privacy but close enough to town for convenience! So cute and cozy, we really enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back.

This place was amazing. We were only there for one night but it was spectacular. Check in went amazing and the owners even went as far as videoing how to get to the property. It was so cozy and quaint. A perfect place to spend our first night married.

Lovely Getaway

We adored this quiet country cabin on a beautiful property. The hosts thought of everything we could need. Enjoyed visiting Weatherford and Granbury, and getting away from our busy suburban area for a relaxing weekend.

Cabin was beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was so peaceful at night and quiet throughout the day. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is the place to go!

Country getaway

Stayed a couple days just to get out of the city for a while and relax with my family. Kids loved roasting marshmallows and Hotlinks over the fire pit. Will definitely be coming back!

Beautiful Cabin for a Relaxing Stay

My family and I stayed at this cabin for a relaxing vacation and it was wonderful. We have 3 small children and they loved their time here(especially seeing the farm animals).We were able to grill out, roast marshmallows and play and hike on the large property. The inside of the cabin was beautiful and clean. Our hosts were amazing and hospitable. We couldn't have asked for a better place to recharge and reconnect as a family.

Clean Cozy Cute Cabin Getaway

Cabin is clean, well decorated, private, and perfect for two adults. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Fans on front porch kept us cool in the August Texas heat. Inviting outdoor area. We will return in the winter to try out fire pit. Thank you for a nice stay.

Cozy Cabin for a Weekend Away

My husband and I got away for a weekend to chill and pray, process, and plan for our year. It’s been several years since we’ve been able to do this, and this cabin was a great spot for it. It’s cozy, clean, comfy, and the surroundings are wonderful. Jordan and Tabby thought of everything you might need and don’t ask anything of you when you check out. We’re excited to come back again sometime with our kids, they’d love it out there.

Forgo the hotel, this place is perfect!

We came to town for a wedding and rather than stay at a hotel in the city we chose to take advantage of our weekend getaway and selected Lonestfor for our stay. The check in time was the same time as the wedding and the owners were able to accommodate us. We so greatly appreciated this favor!! My morning cup of coffee was greeted by a faint roster crow and all of natures beautiful sounds. It's so close to town but far enough to allow for relaxing quiet moments. It's clean, beautiful, and very hospitable. It's easy to get to and fun to arrive home too after a fun night out.

Truly 5 Star

I generally leave a generic star review. However, the stay at Ducky's Cabin was exceptional. The space was clean and impressive, not to mention extremely comfortable. The cabin is quiet and nestled among the forest laid out with a beautiful view of the farm. The location between Weatherford and Granbury makes easy access while still feeling like we are away from it all. Last, the hosts are thoughtful and generous. We highly recommend this stay.

Perfect Camp Cabin Getaway

Awesome in every way. Super clean and updated. Very well stocked. Thoughtful touches made it feel like a home away from home. Comfy. Quiet. Peaceful. Wedding Stay

We had a friend get married at the wedding venue that is 3 miles away and didnt want to stay in Weatherford. It was an awesome little cabin that we stayed at with our friends who were also attending the wedding. The host was great, checked in on us a few times and made sure we had dry firewood for a fire which we definitely used after the wedding! Cabins was really nicely renovated and had a good selection of coffee and teas! Definitely recommend staying here especially if attending a wedding at the sorings or somewhere nearby. It would have also been great if our other friends could have gotten some of the other cabins they have on the property but they were still under renovation when we booked. Also our 2 yr old loved see the ducks, donkeys, and cows they have nearby.

An Absolute Gem!

I’ve stayed at a bunch of places over the years. Only one has ever made me really want to come back. Until now! Ducky’s Lonestar Cabin just made my list of favorite places. This is one of the cutest and relaxing stays I’ve ever experienced. The attention to detail in the arrival instructions is a reflection of how the owners think about everything. From interior decor to the fire pit, everything just feels right. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is amazing, the shower feels luxurious, and the big screen placement is a thing of beauty. The size of the space is great for a couple or a small family. The location on the property is absolutely perfect. You need to drive all the way to the back of the property to get to the Lonestar cabin, and it’s well worth it. You pass by some other cabins and the pasture where the Highland cows roam lazily in the Texas sun on your way to a very secluded place carved out of the woods and sitting at the base of a hill. A small seasonal creek runs around the back side and down to the road. The outdoor seating is begging you to leave your worries behind and stop to take a breath. The huge wooden rockers on the front porch sing the same tune, inviting weary people to feel the breeze and listen to the wind in the trees. Even though you are far away from anyone or anything that could interrupt you, you’re a mere 15 minutes from the best restaurants in Weatherford. During our stay, we chose to enjoy Rio Mambo and El Fenix for our Mexican food fixes,

Great little getaway

We had a wonderful time! The cabin is beautiful, clean and private. We had everything we needed because the owners have thoughtfully paid attention to all the details. It was a perfect getaway for my husband and I while we were in the area!

Everything about this property was amazing. The decor and vintage furniture gave it a cozy home feel. They even provided women’s products with a sanitizing bag station by the toilet! Down to every detail this house and product was absolutely amazing! If you are going back and forth about booking this house, BOOK IT. ITS AMAZING!

First class cabin stay

Sometimes you stay at a Vrbo and you wonder if the hosts have ever been to a hotel before . That was not the case here. Their attention to detail was 5 star all the way to having the light switches labeled. I would definitely stay here again.
