Lovely house, owner told us it was built in 1790’s. We were staying in the 2nd floor bedroom. Guest bedroom was in the bsmt. Therefore it was dark. It also didn’t have a bathroom and you had to walk up to the 1st floor.

The backyard and surrounding woods and marshes are full of beautiful places to relax and walk. We were close to the National Seashore and bustle of route 6 and Provincetown, but in a peaceful secluded spot. Remember to bring your proof of stay to the Wellfleet beach office, so you can enjoy the beach or local ponds for swimming!

Lovely home on the Cape

This home, located in an easy-to-access, yet somewhat secluded location was a lovely place to spend a week. The owner is a lovely woman and the home itself (and its owners) have an interesting history. This worked for us as a family of 3 a friend. It’s not ideal to have only one shower but it didn’t really impact us. Wonderful sunroom/porch, outdoor shower and hammock and another porch/deck off the primary bedrooms There were a couple of electrical issues we had and initially the Vacasa local manager was very responsive but ultimately the issue did not get resolved. While it didn’t impact us too much that was the reason for the slight knock on the rating.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was a delight. It was clean, well lit, quiet, lovely piece of property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. My only recommendations are to provide a few additions to the kitchen to make it easier to cook a meal. Coffee mugs there aren’t chipped, a grater, and more than one newer skillet. The other recommendation is to include the information that there is no bathroom adjacent to the basement bedroom. We were fine going up the stairs during the night but that could be a challenge for some. Great place, I hope to stay here again ! Thank you.

Amazing Wellfleet experience

Our stay in this property made our Wellfleet experience magical. I was blown away by the beauty and serenity of the outdoor property, waking to the sights and sounds of birds and bunnies. The sunroom offered a perfect place for meals and relaxation, my husband and son loved grilling, and my son couldn’t get enough of nightly fire pit s’mores-Fests! The property is impeccable, kitchen stocked well with everything we needed. Even on overcast days we were perfectly happy to find a cozy spot to just read and enjoy the peace. The location is great too- easy access to beautiful walks and bike rides. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is just up the for biking and Lieutenant Island is a walk or ride in the other direction. Tom was kind enough to set up the perfect fire pit for us and to give us pointers for first timers to Wellfleet. We can’t wait to visit this little piece of paradise again!

Great experience, will rent again

Property was very clean and the location was great, in a very private wooded area surrounded by conservation land. Great outdoor space with seating, a grill and even an outdoor shower for cleaning up after the beach. Very close to many beaches and other attractions and restaurants. Just something to pick on, for some reason, I did not receive the door code before arrival. I had to make multiple calls after I got there to finally get it. But in the end, it was a great experience for all of us.

peaceful quiet getaway

We had a lovely stay in South Wellfleet in this secluded, beautiful home. Walking trails through the woods and marsh start right from the backyard which has many sweet place to relax and view the marsh and sunsets. There is easy access to the bustle of Route 6 and Provincetown as well as the bike path and National Seashore.
