"Everything was as expected or even better. This home was conveniently located less than 2 hours from our home in Charlotte, NC. Our 14 year old daughter, whose birthday we were celebrating, especially loved the independence of having her own “apartment” down stairs. The yard was spacious for our big dawgs to roam blueberry hill. The screened in deck up top offered a great vantage point for bird watching. We were very please with the hospitality of the host."

We were a family of 10 over Thanksgiving, which involved a lot of cooking and the outdated kitchen made it challenging (old stove/oven and microwave from the 1990s!). One of the bedrooms has a pull-out couch that is extremely uncomfortable. DO NOT SLEEP ON IT! When we arrived, it was 58 degrees in the house and we quickly discovered the heat is locked and requires a PIN to unlock. Guests have no control over the temperature--it's...

"Me and my little family decided to take a quick trip for the long weekend. We enjoyed this spacious home and the sounds of nature. Our host was so friendly and supplied us with everything we needed and more for our stay. We enjoyed the frozen pizzas left for us in their fridge, it was perfect for when we got in! The place was easy to find, the goats, and chickens were all very welcoming. Despite the thunderstorm that hit us on our last day, the stay was exactly what we all needed."

Everything was wonderful, honestly cannot think of any complaints. Host was responsive, friendly and accommodating. (Our flight home was delayed and we were granted a later check out). Coming in I would’ve appreciated Better signage at the road, but knowing now it is part of a larger property under construction. Still a nice view and the construction did not interfere with my stay. This was a cozy cabin and I would stay there again."
