"This amazing studio was the perfect size for me and my girlfriend. We stayed here to go to crystal mountain to snowboard. It’s in a quaint location and a 2-3 minute walk away from public Lake Michigan beach access.We were able to drive into Manistee and Traverse City for dinner. The studio itself was so clean and nicely decorated. We loved it!!"

"Cure "shed" tucked in the pines. Very clean, wonderfully stocked and tastefully decorated. Cozy but has all the comforts of home. Kate was friendly and caring! Recommended for couples , not necessarily families due to size. Clise to Bear Lake for groceries, gas restaurants. Mot far from Manistee and Traverse City for tons of activities"

"Everything was perfect from start to finish. The hosts are great! Helpful, communicative, and made sure we knew all the things there were to do and see in the area. The cabin was wonderful, peaceful and relaxing. We did a winter rafting tour of the Pine through Pine River Paddlesports. Highly recommend! We take our pup everywhere with us and are grateful that Hawk’s Nest Kabin is dog friendly. We will definitely book again!"

"We had a short weekend getaway here and it was top notch. The hosts have thought of every detail to make the stay amazing. We stayed with our daughter (8) who is in a wheelchair and was pleased with the accessibility of the cabin. Our 4 year old loved the great selections of DVDs and games and toys. We thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and peacefulness of the forest. It was amazing to stand on the deck and see nothing but trees and hear NOTHING. Thank you for the wonderful experience,"

"This was our 3rd time staying at the property and it was great as usual. We couldn’t ski due to the weather but had no problem finding things to do in the area. The house is large enough to fit several families and a huge bedroom downstairs for the adult kids to hang out. I must say it would be nice if the furnace was WiFi and the owners could bump up the heat prior to our arrival as it was only 58 degrees in the house but it did heat up fairly quickly and was not a big deal. "This motel has a 2 start rating. My wife and I have stayed here several times. It is by far the cleanest motel that I've stayed at. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The free breakfast and beverages are a great start to the day. The pool and hot tub are very nice and clean. I highly recommend this motel."
