"The apartment was clean, cozy, and had everything (and more) than we needed for our 5 night stay. We didn't do any cooking but the kitchen was stocked with the essentials. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was stocked with plenty of soft towels, and good quality toilet paper and tissues like you would have in your own home. There is quite bit of road noise in the mornings so bring earplugs for sleeping - that is the only negative for the place. The location worked out great for us. It is a quick drive to all the hiking and sites we explored. We liked being on the quite side of MDI and walking distance to some restaurants. The host, Ed, is helpful and answered any questions we had. It was a pleasant stay!"

"This was an excellent stay! Luke communicated the check in process/info before we arrived, along with some local recommendations. He provided contact info for himself and others in case of emergencies. The location was clean, and a large space for us to relax. We had a gorgeous view of the harbor and it was walking distance to some local places. We enjoyed sitting on the huge deck (and the gate provided helped to keep our dogs on the deck). We met Luke as he lives nearby and appreciated his local suggestions. We would definitely recommend this location to stay again- it was a short drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor and just what we wanted. Thank you again for providing such a great stay! "

"We were so happy with our stay! House was lovely, even better than the pictures. The beds were so comfortable, and the house came stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were kind and very communicative, they made the whole process very easy. Would definitely stay here again!!"

"The home was like staying at grandma’s house, complete with dust bunnies and spider webs. It’s a cute home in a great location to explore Acadia. We watched deer from the porch. It was a fantastic stay in that regard. RedAwning … a different story. They got our check in date wrong, so we could not get into the property until almost midnight. At one point they said go find other lodging… ummm, it’s not a city. Other lodging isn’t an option. Our our refrigerated groceries ruined. They were an absolute nightmare to work with to solve the problem that night, and they failed to show kindness or professionalism during any of our contact. I imagine they are responsible for the cleaning of the property and they have let the owners and the guests down. I had to scrub the kitchen down before we could use it. In my experience, it is a terrible management company. I suggest you avoid them. "
