"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! When we drove up and saw the relaxing front porch with seating, and the firepit close by, we knew it would be just like home! And the inside was cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room for teenagers and young children as well as adults. ( that master bedroom though! heaven!) The hospitality was great! snacks on the table, interesting books in case we were up for reading, even a pair of binoculars so that you can see the goats on the mountain out the front window!"

"First time VRBO guest and I was nervous especially before seeing the rental and meeting the friendly, helpful host, Denise. The wood stove and dartboard were delightful amenities I did not anticipate. All of us enjoyed the hot tub especially soaking in the beautiful views of the full moon. "My husband and I had originally planned to stay 6 nights. As soon as we saw the property we added 2 more nights (thankful they were available)! It is a perfect mountain retreat! The cabin is cozy, comfortable, and very pretty. We like to cook and we had everything we needed. Love the Maggie Valley/Waynesville area so much we are hoping to retire there soon. "The room was a nice size with 2 glider chairs, a desk and queen bed and room to move around!! The breakfast was delicious and very filling. The grounds with a mountain view were great for sitting and relaxing, in the morning we were lucky to see a ground hog sitting up in the yard. Brenda and Peter were the perfect hosts with being there if you needed anything. "

"Great cabin close to Cataloochee Ski area. My adult children and I met up for the weekend to get in a couple of days on the slopes. We loved Mountain Haven. Plenty of room for the five of us to all have our own space. We really enjoyed the pool table. It was too cold to be outside but the deck looked great with a lovely view of the mountains. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The location was close to everything in Maggie Valley. Would definitely stay here again."
