"We absolutely loved our stay! Going off-season is key. Sandi, the front manager, was fabulous and we had many engaging conversations. The room was amazing, the room where the breakfast was served was extremely welcoming, the location was wonderful and I honestly cannot say enough great things about our visit!"

"I’ve always been curious about the Wayside Inn because my mom worked there a gazillion years ago when she was in high school. It’s so cozy and clean and staff was very friendly. They also upgraded us which was super nice! The only thing was outlets in the room were kind of oddly positioned— but we made it work. Also you really couldn’t have a better location for exploring Chatham downtown (the Squire and shops are right across the street). Hope to be back in the summer. "

"The hotel is being remodeled, but the room is very clean. They even had gluten free options for breakfast, which made my little one super happy!"

"Over the top, Mansion full of history, c Great food, wonderful view of bay water. Best bread pudding ever! And what a surprise when we found our room stocked with wine, chocolates, nuts fruits cheese and cake in honor of our 52 nd anniversary, with a card! ALWAYS WANTED TO STAY THERE, M NOW I WILL RETURN EACH YEAR. Room was spacious and close to the mansion and so comfortable. If you want to feel special come here."
