Hot tub was nice and hot, fits 6 people so could get a little crowded if they are booked up. the property is dated but kept up very well. Breakfast was perfect and made to order. Eggs with bacon or sausage, french toast. Simple but all you need before going out to ski in the morning.

The property is conveniently located in close proximity to Mt Snow and local restaurants. The staff is friendly. There's a big screen tv room with fireplace and a small sitting room to read or just converse. Rooms are a little dated but clean. Would stay again.

Lovely place to stay

An old style inn that has a charm and comfort that makes it a great ski vacation accommodation for a couple. The owners were lovely and its conveniently located to the town.

Beautiful place to stay

The big bear lodge is a pretty great place to stay owners are super nice everything was clean each room has its own setup with different styles breakfast was great, the only thing is if you want snacks or drinks they do not have vending machines or ice machine so bring a cooler with you and snack other than that a super great place to stay !!!!

This is a very comfortable, simple inn. The owners are attentive and the breakfasts are very good--great value for the area. We also enjoyed the English couple operating the place--very engaging and accommodating. We would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in the area.

The owners were welcoming and lovely. The breakfast was home cooked to order. Slightly disappointed the hot tub was out of order during our stay. Will return, the location is perfect if you are skiing at Mount Snow!

Overal a great stay, my family and I spent 2 night's. Steps away from mount snow, the owners were friendly and helpful. Breakfast, while limited was an easy option before hitting the slopes.. if you want some where thats hommie, safe and family friendly this is it. We will definitely be back.

My family stayed in a room with a queen and bunk beds. Mattresses were very uncomfortable; not enough pillows. There was no continental breakfast and breakfast options were sparse/small portions. Good view, ample parking.

Steve and Caroline are really nice folks who run a great little lodge right down the street from Mt.Snow. The proximity to the Mt. is awesome and there’s even a shuttle stop right outside to take you to the lifts. The place has an old school vibe but the beds are up to snuff and it’s cozy so I slept well both nights I was there. Add to that hot Breakfast cooked to order and you’re all set for a day on the mountain! I’d definitely stay there again!

The room was great for a family of four. The breakfast was delicious and ended up being sit down with a very limited menu just to get you going. Restaurants in the area are crowded so takeout is easier to get. Just speak to the owner about sitting in the dining area first they are very accommodating. I would definitely book here again.

Charming and simple. Everything you would expect in a Vermont lodge. Breakfast was included. It would have been nice to have amenities like tea and coffee outside of breakfast hours.
