Every room here has an ocean view. The entire staff is amazing. Theu will do anything for you to make your stay as stressfree as possible for you. You cannot beat the beach this resort is sitting on. If you want a laid back peaceful place to stay, look no further!

Very clean and nice staff. Doesn’t offer much, it’s really just a beach no pool or walkable areas besides the beach and nothing to do as far as activities go. No restaurants either or seating areas besides the room you book. Next door to DJ Leon’s so it also gets loud to feel like your bed is in the center of a concert from 9pm-1am if hes playing so definitely not a good option if you want to get some sleep in. Grounds are well maintained and staff is very accommodating and clean. Beach is 2 feet away from you, you’re literally on it and towels are provided which is nice. No beachside service though

Cannot say enough great things about Carimar! That is why we were not surprised by how many repeat guests they have. We were fortunate enough to meet some of them at the manager’s reception our first night here. Everyone went out of their way for us and were so friendly! So sad to leave and anxious to return. Thank you Carimar! You are one of a kind, felt like home❤️P.S. thank you for the washer and dryer. Now I don’t have to wash clothes when I get home❤️

This property is conveniently located on a great beach close to nice restaurants. It is an older property but well maintained. Our room had no view. It was very difficult to operate the sliding glass door and the AC only works if the doors are closed. Carimar has an assigned beach chair system that was irritating, particularly since we were assigned seats about as far from our condo as possible. The office staff seemed much less friendly than most Anguillans we have met in our repeated visits to the island.

Property well maintained. Sliding door was super sticky and hard to move - maintenance person tried to fix it but couldn't. Staff was very helpful. Brought us fresh coconuts :-) Beach chairs were okay, but sloping down on beach so not very comfortable for long stays. Overall we loved our stay at Carimar and would go back, and recommend to others.

Carimar is absolutely beautiful. The staff are helpful and kind. They arranged our Covid tests to return to the United States including transportation. It was a wonderful vacation and and an incredible place to stay. Many of the people we met at Carimar have been staying there for many years. One family has stayed there for 22 years.

Attractive but pricey

I agree with the reports that describe how attractive Carimar is. The villa is itself is fine and the beach is absolutely beautiful. However, $830 (including taxes) is too high even in the peak season for what you get. For this price, I would have expected at least a minimum supply of a starter package of essential foods and being picked up at the airport . A great place but I do wonder if one could do better better for this price.

Locatie en kamer prima. Geen airco in woonkamer wat gezien kamerprijzen van USD 330 wel inclusief had moeten zijn. Fitness is een sauna, heeft geen drinkwater beschikbaar. Airco staat daar standaard uit. Geen mogelijkheid om iets te drinken of eten te bestellen, geen bar/restaurant. Boek niet in dit seizoen, bijna alles is dicht. Gezien beperkte faciliteiten is prijs aan de hoge kant

Can't wait to return!

Cindy and both Laverne's were awesome. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The hotel has snorkels, fins and other water toys available as well as chairs, umbrellas and beach towels. They are sweet and helpful if you want to get a taxi or recommendations for local activities.

Best value on the island!

We spent 7 nights at Carimar and fell in love with Meads Bay! The hotel is perfectly situated along a mile wide beach with luxury resorts within walking distance for fine dining and cocktails. 4-5 other restaurants are within walking distance as well as a grocery store. Housekeeping was great. The front desk helped us with reservations and recommendations daily. We used the free bikes to explore a bit, but the roads are not the best and there are no sidewalks. Most frequent visitors rent a car. The taxi rides were pretty much a minimum of $20. Also, we used the new gym- it had all we needed: 3 pieces of cardio, free weights, and an all-in-one resistance machine. Overall, the sand and water are beautiful! No crowded beaches or loud groups. This hotel is ideal for a peaceful week of laying on the beach!!
