「This price is not worth it. We booked one night, when we arrived at the hotel, there keycard system something wrong, we got the room without keycard for few hours, really inconvenient. We went to swimming pool, though the door without keycard, so we can’t entre, we back to reception again, after that we were waiting for the leisure reception staff a long time, really angry about it.」

「A simple hotel in the middle of Stourbridge. Rooms are adequate in size, the bed is comfortable and there's a good shower in the bathroom. There was a problem with my room but it got sorted quickly and the staff were excellent. Small changes in the bathroom would help - a shelf above the sink so there's somewhere to put your stuff and similarly a soap dish in the shower would be really useful.」

「Ate in the bar area. Excellent food and knowledgeable about gluten free requirements. Room was well decorated and some nice finishing touches. My only criticism was that the shower should be updated」

「My stay was extra special as it was the evening before and my wedding day evening. Me and my best friend stayed the Friday and had a lovely meal on the evening. We mentioned to our server that i was getting married in the morning and she brought out a desert with a candle saying congratulations. Was a complete surprise which made it that more special. The room was beautiful and the staff overall so lovely and welcoming. 」

「One day before my family's planned arrival, I received a call from the operator's husband to say there was no hot water and he wanted to give me the opportunity to book an alternative stay. I understood this to mean a refund would be given in this event. It was late to book elsewhere so initially my family agreed to go regardless but as no further communication was forthcoming despite several attempts I booked elsewhere. 「Absolute gem - beautiful accommodation and fabulous staff. Highlight of my stay was throwing the ball for their two awesome Border Collies and chatting to the staff/managers at breakfast. 」

「This is a lovely place to stay. It is just off the M5 in a rural location. A beautiful pub with history. The staff are welcoming and friendly. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean and comfortable. The food choices are varied and when served, well presented. We will stay again when we are visiting family in Cheshire or Scotland. 」
