“We stayed at this hotel for one night while we attended a concert at Santander Arena. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the hallways and rooms had a strong pet odor and recreational smoke smell. Every floor smelled that way, so there was no use in asking for another room. Part of rooms had been refreshed and were fairly clean, but the carpets were stained and needed to be replaced in both the hallways and the rooms. Based on our observations while we were there, this seemed like a hotel……

“We stayed in the guesthouse which was very nice. Only problem was the coffee pot in the entryway would not work. We just walked to the office and got coffee. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Loved the breakfast at the cafe which is right besie the Inn. Inn gives you a $12.00 voucher for each person to eat there and it was excellent and plentiful. Also the girls at the desk at the Inn were very friendly and helped you with any questions. Would highly recommend this Inn.”

“It’s possible a lot of what I found disappointing in the property was poor timing. The hotel was sold on Sunday and we checked in Tuesday. After a long day of traveling we just wanted to check in, relax at the bar with a drink, and go to sleep. However, the bar wasn’t open. We were then told the elevator wasn’t working and but thankfully we were only on the 2nd floor. The continental breakfast was yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, or bagels…. but no toaster. We ended up checking out at 8:15am just so we……

“Very disappointing experience. The room was not clean when we arrived. The restroom was dirty, and the bed sheets appeared not to have been changed from the previous guest. This made us feel very uncomfortable and concerned about the hotel’s cleanliness standards. I immediately reported these issues to the front desk. The staff apologized, but they told me there was nothing they could do because I had booked through Expedia. I found this response unacceptable. Regardless of how a reservation is……

“It’s a nice one night stay, with self sufficient carry on’s. Don’t expect to get supplies from the surroundings. ”
