"I booked our stay at Monarc Ranch for the April 8 eclipse, when we had a problem with our previous booking. We stayed for 2 nights for a family of 4 (including our 5 and 3 year old boys). Despite the cloudy weather affecting our eclipse viewing, everything about the lodging was outstanding. "It was beautiful and the staff was wonderful. The only negative was the bed- the mattress was so hard on my bed I woke up with a bad backache and had to reposition. My travel companion said her bed was too soft. I wish we had switched, but I don’t think mine was going to be comfy for anyone!"

"The hotel is located next to the River Walk and is in a good location. The hotel doesn't have parking, they only had valet with extra cost. This hotel is located in the downtown area and with the window closed you could hear traffic clearly. There was construction happening during our stay which made it difficult to access. The room was clean and the staff were helpful."
