"This looked like a lovely property online but was even more gorgeous in person. The house was spotless, warm and inviting. Many areas to sit and enjoy the sound of the birds. The host was great. Obviously enjoying sharing her hospitality and wanting my stay to be memorable. I hope to be able to go back around Christmas."

"The entire property was spotlessly clean everywhere.Very well equipped. We didn’t even use the whole house it was so big. Comfortable beds, lots of towels, toilet roll, shampoo etc. Well equipped kitchen. Big grill, lovely terrace with table and lots of chairs. Nice fire pit. Basically everything you need for a perfect countryside getaway at a very reasonable price. Thank you very much."

The backyard was perfect for play and the house was super comfortable. We stayed for a week and we loved how easy it was to get to Whole Foods, Target, and Trader Joe’s. "We stayed here for 9 days with our daughter while she was recovering from surgery. It was amazing! The home was very comfortable, clean and well-stocked (linens, pots and pans, etc.) The owners were flexible and kind. And the views of the lake were absolutely stunning. "This house was great for a group of classmates back at Amherst for out 40th college reunion. We had a nice dinner on the porch, took advantage of the excellent air conditioning, and enjoyed having comfortable private space. Much better than camping in a dorm room, and enough to attract some infrequent reunion attendees back to the Pioneer Valley."

"We were visiting relatives and found Hickory Hill a really wonderful place to stay, both comfortable and pleasant. It is a working kennel so there were occasional barks but was very quiet at night- you can see both sunrise and sunset from the deck. The area has dark skies so the stars are really clear ... big improvement for us city folks. Very glad they board people in addition to pups! :)"

"This is one of the best properties in the Pioneer Valley for the price. Comfortable, clean, and central. The team at Evolve and the local property manager are incredibly kind and responsive. Check-in was flawless and our stay was an absolute 10/10 from top to bottom. Keep in mind this property does have stairs to get to the bathroom and bedrooms, but the double railings made it a breeze for my elderly parents.
