Living room and restaurant sitting area is cold. It seems they did not turn on the heater to save money. The whole building is not warm enough. check time 4 pm was strictly enforced. They even asked me to wait while it was just 10 minutes to 4 pm. Told me the room was not ready. It is non sense. Between 1 to 3 pm , nobody can come back to the room once you leave the room. They lock the main door to clean. Shared toilets and shower rooms are clean. They should not name " hotel" . It is misleading. I thought it was just a small hotel room with bathroom attached. It is basically a hostel. A modernized hostel.

Very efficient and effective for a short stay in whistler. You can tell a lot of thought to went into the design of the pods and the space in general. Also a lot quieter then I expected. The hotel bar is a great space and the location is incredible. I’d stay again anytime. Vibes on vibes.

Cracking location. Very clean, well organised operation. A surprising feeling of privacy considering it is a pod hotel. All minor issue was limited options for dealing with wet ski gear. There is a communal ski equipment area. I left my stuff there in the arvo for it to dry then moved it to the pod overnight. I would happily stay again.

Pod concept is really cool, with fans on the inside ensuring pristine ventilation. Pod was comfortable and it didn't feel cramped at all. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Only a 3 min walk from the Excalibur Gondala, It's a perfect spot after a day on the hills. The room itself was very convienient, with seperate change rooms and stand-alone sinks. They even provide racks outside the rooms to store your snowboard or skis. My only complaint would be that the shower catcher in my room had alot of hair, which was kind of gross, but overall the experience was great!

We are deeply, deeply sorry! It depends on how tolerant you are to light, noise, extremely hot sleeping conditions. I found the pod curtains way too thin - every time a light went on the whole pod lit up. The noise from other guests was actually pretty good to be fair, but don’t expect to sleep much past 6am when people start stamping around. The bed has a plastic sheet, the pod has a pathetic little fan that I used for white noise, so it’s boiling hot. I woke up soaked in sweat every night. The tiny portable fan I borrowed from reception was hardly worth the trip downstairs for. On the plus side - excellent location, the staff were lovely, great showers and decent wifi.

Great place right in the centre of Whistler Village. Getting into a pod was a little challenging at time, but great otherwise. The hotel also has a cafe/restaurant that is very convenient and there's someone at the front desk 24/7 which is super convenient and the staff is very helpful.

Pangea's location is remarkable; short walk to gondolas and surrounding restaurants. Food prices are creeping up quite a bit, 19CAD for a flatbread or 19CAD for a microwaved breakfast sandwich and coffee (doesn't even include the frozen potatoes). Staff is always great!

Interesting setup, I had a great stay! Food was good, bed was clean and had respectful neighbors. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Very clean ambiance and layout was pretty well thought out. Check out the rooftop if you stay! Definitely would stay again.

Great location. I expected pods to have the ability to be locked but they just have a curtain. You sure don’t get a lot for the $$. POD was okay and comfortable enough. Slept fine with earplugs and fan on. Didn’t feel comfortable leaving stuff unsupervised.

They were never part of our design, but the BC Building Code wouldn't allow us to proceed with our original plan for full doors and mandated we use curtains instead (for easier egress in case of emergency). Part of the issue is that we're in a 'heritage'-type wood-framed building. But our next property, and all subsequent properties thereafter, will most definitely have pods that have solid walls on all sides. That being said, given the limitations imposed upon us, we've tried to mitigate the noise issue within the constraints we face as best we can, including the inclusion of acoustic channels all pod walls, sound-absorbing materials, and a fan that is as much to create white noise as it is to move air around. And of course complimentary ear plugs at reception if you really need them. We also take a zero tolerance policy to guests who make noise, and our general clientele are exceptionally respectful. But yes, curtains aren't walls, we agree with you fully!Regarding your not feeling comfortable leaving stuff unsupervised, you should be aware that we've been open for nearly 6 years and have yet to have a single case of anything going missing! So, while we can't guarantee anything (not can any hotel), you should take comfort in the data.Regardless of the above, we hope to see you back at Pangea in the future, and provide a flawless experience when we do!Warm regards and thanks again for being our guest,The Team at Pangea

The underground parking was hard to find, had to double park and walk to hotel to ask receptionist directions. Other than that it was one of the better looking hostels I've stayed in. Very modern, clean and quiet. I appreciated the extra cubby outside the cabin to store my luggage. Highly recommend and will be definitely be staying here again

Hi there,Thanks for staying with us for 4 nights, and for your comments. As a business that’s constantly trying to innovate and improve, we’re always hungry for guest feedback and constructive criticism, so thank you again for taking the time to write this down.We can't disagree with your note regarding curtains. They were never part of our design, but the BC Building Code wouldn't allow us to proceed with our original plan for full doors and mandated we use curtains instead (for easier egress in case of emergency). Part of the issue is that we're in a 'heritage'-type wood-framed building. But our next property, and all subsequent properties thereafter, will most definitely have pods that have solid walls on all sides. That being said, given the limitations imposed upon us, we've tried to mitigate the privacy issue within the constraints we face as best we can, including the inclusion of acoustic channels all pod walls, sound-absorbing materials, and a fan that is as much to create white noise as it is to move air around. And of course complimentary ear plugs at reception if you really need them. We also take a zero tolerance policy to guests who make noise, and our general clientele are exceptionally respectful. But yes, curtains aren't walls, we agree with you fully!Regardless of the above, we hope to see you back at Pangea in the future, and provide a flawless experience when we do!Warm regards and thanks again for being our guest,The Team at Pangea
