"Booked for a babymoon break over New Year and we got exactly what we wanted - a restful break in a hotel with great facilities. Our room was very comfortable especially the bed, the

area is lovely with its windows on to the adjacent stream and waterfall, a great variety at breakfast and when we dined in the restaurant one evening, it was the best meal we had the whole trip. Highly recommend for trips to Whitby and the surrounding area. "

"The postcode given was not for the property we was staying at. No reception and poor signage in property. Dirty looking out front and dark inside. Room small and very basic poor ventalition and not equipped for elderly people. Couldn't upgrade room but couldn't. No parking at all. Communication unclear by staff and owner. More like a prison cell people complaining about the hotel. One young girl was only person that was helpful and polite. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. But Whitby...
