Great cabin on piste for family of 4

Great cabin, excellent and convenient ski in/out location. Resort grocery/ market place is waking distance. Only negative is the hot tub was only 60 degrees at check in and 92 degrees the second night. Took about 30 hours to warm up to a comfortable temperature to use.

Ski Weekend at Whitefish

Generally as advertised, steps from the slope and a great little ski cabin. Our only surprise was the huge condos under construction behind the building (and by the hot tub) which weren’t reflected in the photos. Not really a negative, just felt crowded behind the cabin.

Great experience & already booked next year's visit. Location! Location! Location! Loved just walking out the front door to the chair lift. Pleasantly surprised with accommodations & not needing much more. Washer & Dryer will help reduce amount of packing for next visit. Booked a different cabin that will be more in line with our needs (not a family). HIGHLY recommend the Black Bear Cabins to anyone looking for convenience & comforts of a home compared to a hotel (i.e. not sharing walls with another guest). Did not use the hot tub, felt it wasn't private enough with new lodging being built right behind cabin. Hopefully more privacy will be created before out next visit in 2026.

Great Summer time "Hike In/ Hike Out"

We enjoyed our stay in Cabin two. Everything went well. The main level bathroom door could use top track adjustment so that it would not go past the floor stop. The cabin had everything our family of 4 needed. It was a very cozy and comfortable. I noticed that the other outside deck on the front had small drink tables with the chairs, while not necessary, that would be a nice add. Thanks again, we would stay again in any of the 4 Black bear Cabins. Thanks!

Such a delight!

This cabin is adorable! So well done, tastefully decorated, and has all the amenities! We had a fantastic time, and the ski-in/ski-out was absolutely perfect. We look forward to booking it again!

Cute cabin with perfect location

As soon as we arrived, we fell in love with the location of this cabin, and how clean and cute the cabin was inside! It looks exactly like the photos provided and was extremely cozy with the fireplace and views of the mountains. The check in and check out process was straight forward and easy to follow. Close to downtown whitefish, glacier and incredible hiking trails.

Great cabin

Great location to lifts and gorgeous views. Loved having the private hot tub right there. Property manager was responsive and accessible. Charming decor and comfy beds with everything you need. Get a car with decent traction to get up the street, otherwise perfect! Definitely will be back!

Perfect ski in ski out

Perfect place for a family of four or two couples. Only suggestion for improvement would be to add blinds on the front windows. Also, bath tub faucet needs adjusted/replaced and water had an odd smell but only upstairs in the tub. Great place and would stay here again.

Cozy and Slopeside

Great place extremely close to Chair 3 for easy ski in/ski out access. Also a very short walk to the village. It's a small place, but there was plenty of room for two of us. Four people would work great as well. Maxing out at 6 would be pretty tight. Would recommend strongly for a couple or family of four.

Cabin Getaway

The cabin was beautiful, rustic but comfortable and cozy. It was very well stocked, everything we needed, and the mangers are very helpful and responsive. It’s literally 100 yards from Chair 3 and a short walk to restaurants and stores. We didn’t have to start the trick for three days! Only downside was not the property owners fault, somebody is building condos like an arms length from the back fence. They are super tall! But the view out the front is magnificent. We will be back.
