"The house was right on the Guadalupe river. The back was all windows so you could see it even when indoors.I wish I would've brought my paddle board. Birds everywhere & saw a river otter.It was a great mini vacay. So relaxing. Close enough to other towns where there are activities.Hiking at the at multi locations.I really lo ed Gruene. some restaurants, boutiques. Day spa for massages and a winery."

"I thought my room would have a balcony but i was wrong. The property set up is just weird. One of the beed room doors is attached to the neighbor's unit. You can hear literally every word and foot step from them. The only way it makes since to stay here is to rent both units. But i travel alone for business and thats not practical "

"This house was amazing and was exactly as described. My friends and I go on a river trip every year. This is our 16th year with the same group of 30 friends. The house fit everyone perfectly. Every four people had their own bathroom and nobody had to deal with bunk beds. The ice maker was our favorite part. The only downfall is the outside porch was pretty small. It came with plenty of chairs but we couldn't all fit out there at the same time. We put corn hole boards down by the fire pit but you had to walk down the steep stairs to get to it, so only a few of us went down there. (Being all over 40... as Toby Keith would say, we aren't as good as we once were. LOL). The float was nice and wasn't too long. We drove to the entrance of the horseshoe and it was extremely convenient to float right down to the house. The only problem with that is, it's the same exit as everybody else on the river so it was very crowded. Half of the group doesn't float anymore so they normally just take chairs down to the river and hang out in the water waiting for us to float down. This year there so many people, it made it impossible for them to do that. So, all in all, it was a great trip and the house is amazing with just minor hiccups. "
