Loftsome bridge although off a main road for convenience is lovely and quite due to it being a good distant back from it, so you get the best of both worlds a good nights sleep and connectivity to all the local attractions with York not being too far away. What makes Loftsome Bridge special is the staff they are……

“Lovely and clean, and with all facilities that you can think of and a fab bathroom. Lovely big bed but it was very firm and could’ve benefited from a mattress topper. The access to the property was perfect but as I was staying there alone I would have liked the blind on the door to be wider than the window, it was a bit unnerving to lie in bed and see through the gap! Otherwise a lovely property”

“The setting is beautiful and the staff amazing. We took our 2 Spaniels with us and stayed in a dog friendly suite. Room was huge and surprisingly warm considering it was a converted Castle. Breakfast in the morning was decent and you are within 25 mins of York. All in all a great trip and we will 100% stay here again. ”

“What a great find. Cave Castle is a lovely hotel and the staff are amazing. I contacted the hotel a few days before with some requests regarding my wife as she has mobility issues. One was for the room to be on the ground floor or close to the lift and the other was for extra pillows as my wife has to sleep upright. When we arrived the staff on reception pulled out our check0in notes and informed us that everything was set up as per our request. The staff are warm and friendly as well as……
