“One of the staff, she was extremely rude and unprofessional, and she got involved in my personal life. She had no right to, and I would not recommend this stuff or this place at all through your Web or any other Web that they’re on this place does not deserve five star for everything they just don’t none of them do the clean rooms the stuff the rooms are not clean the stuff they don’t even change the sheets so just come and just make it and sometimes they fall just the towels that are there and……

“The room had paint peeling on the wall and the towels were dirty. We had no wifi in our room and the fire alarm went off in the middle of the night. No room key was provided as none were available. What an abomination!”

“The price was the best of a bad lot. Even cheap hotels with no amenities feel free to gouge. They charge the maximum for a security deposit. The single employee at the desk was very accommodating, but for a poor business. Everything looked clean, we hope it really was. In a room with 2 queen beds, there was 1 skinny “towel” (rag, really) in the bath. No bath mat. No cups provided for teeth brushing or drinking. Telephone was a broken ancient model so we couldn’t call for our needs. No hangers……

“I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden.”

“Stayed here for one night with husband on route to a Provincial campground so we wouldn’t have to set up in the rain. Selected this hotel based on reviews, which we found were accurate. Very friendly, welcoming front desk. We rented a suite with small kitchenette, couch, fireplace, two person jacuzzi which was a pleasant surprise!! We felt like dining in room but there was no menu or signs saying room service was available. Phoned the resto and a friendly young lady rushed a menu to our room. We……

“Really nice hotel. Bed was comfortable, the rooms were clean, and the staff was friendly. It was also quiet in the rooms. This hotel is in downtown so isn’t in the safest area but there was security at the front door at all times so felt very safe inside. Would stay here again and would recommend!”
